A lot of West Ham fans still not convinced. He seems to do better with lesser squads with a 'team' or tight group mentality. When he gets the chance to make big money signings it tends to go a bit pear shaped. He's got some really good signings in this season and it's not clicking. He still plays pretty negatively which just doesn't suit better quality players.

From 2009 to 2018. Why has this taken so long? The authorities have a lot to answer for. These clubs should be investigated at the end of every financial year. He's a good attacking player. Needs work defensively. Out injured a lot, hopefully that's just unlucky rather than recurring. Hammers have put a sell on clause in, which would suggest they do rate him. The current full backs aren't having a great time of it at the moment so think his chance wouldn't have been far away. Refused to extend his contract which was running out in the summer I believe.
