  1. Correct, I do find it fucking hularious watching tims and huns get all hot and bothered about one incident so they can point the finger. It makes them just a pathetic as the losers singing at lennon.
  2. jesus, macy's posts just get worse every time I stupidly open one
  3. both sets of players were guilty of persistant fouling throughout, it was a very physical match. Lucky win for us but I will take it against brazil 1970
  4. Sorry, that should have been - lost their jobs if they voted yes I know a few apprentices at the place I mentioned - they all voted yes as a big fuck you to the company but there are some again who voted no out of fear
  5. I took the Friday off because I was convinced I would be celebrating independence.........but just over half the country shat their pants and believed the lies and fear mongering. Ill never forget the call from my old employer on the Wednesday night before the vote, this is a very well known building society. I was told I may not have a job if scotland was independent because the building society could only operate within the UK. I was also told anyone in the Scottish team would have to go to a local branch on the Friday if Scotland voted yes because they feared another northern rock style clear out, if we voted yes I wouldn’t be allowed the day off I had booked. I’d never worked in one of the branches before because I didn’t work in retail banking, they basically wanted us to act as a bouncers on the door. the cynic in me thinks this was a fear tactic used by the company to get people to vote no, I know for a fact some people I worked with voted no because they feared for their jobs. I also know Score in Peterhead told apprentices they would lose their jobs if they voted no.
  6. Agreed, I was merely saying I kind of got where Kirk is coming from. It would be nice to see our players show the same passion we do in the stands but as I’ve said before I often think some of our players don’t care that much for the National side
  7. I’m not sure this is similar to the Celtic situation, the needless pressure put in by Celtic led to a strike. This is ex referees making the wrong decisions when the vide Nice is presented to them. I disagree, there has to be an appeals process but it must be implimented properly and there has to be consistency Nth a.m. was lucky not be booked for a foul earlier in the match, he brought down cammy smith when smith and other saints players were on the counter attack. Ntcham knew what he was doing, it was a deliberate foul which most players would committed to stop the attack, bizarrely the ref didn’t book him.
  8. We would all rather have that but it doesn’t have to one or the other.
  9. We better not, the precious among them might start crying and running to the mods again.
  10. Better things to do mate, I didn’t even know the score till late yesterday. I don’t pay the same attention as before but I’m sure your lot were playing hoofball and kicking our boys all over the park😜😜
  11. A bit like our football team has been over the years. Getting players from our most bitter rivals to play for us. I’m not sure what you’re point is PS All I said was the rugby lads sing the anthem with more passion. Being a follower of both nationals side I think the rugby team shows more pride and passion for the country than the footballers do. That could be down to a number of factors, we haven’t had much of a feel good factor in football for more than ten years although for a while the rugby team was battling for a wooden spoon every year.
  12. A bit like our football team has been over the years.
  13. Drastic action is required, it’s the only way the SFA will take notice otherwise they will keep doing as they please.
  14. Finally, some balls from Aberdeen. Take these blatant liars to task
  15. We also need some new songs. Doh a deer is becoming boring
  16. I don’t want to tempt fate and this is probably just blind optimism but I think this is a different group of players with a different attitude. Most look like they really want it now and they’re up for it too. Even mulgrew has got a new lease of lie as one of the leaders in the team. For the first time in a long time I a man confident this is our turn.
  17. Are you the spokesman for the below the radar old firms fans? How many are we talking? If you want to see abuse, head to the old firm match thread. These old firm fans that stay under the radar shouldn’t and I’ll tell you why, it’s because old firm fans are not targeted on here by other fans. It’s in their heads. I’ve been accused of targeting rangers fans on here which is utter nonsense considering the majority of the group I attend matches with are huns.
  18. I didn’t realise those were the only two options but thanks for clarifying.
  19. I get where Kirk is coming from. If you feel passionate about something it can give you that little bit extra, when i I watch the rugby lads, they give it everything from the anthem to the field of play. I’ve often suspected some of our players don’t really care that much about Scotland. I’m not saying that’s the case with tierney before some of the resident Celtic fans get upset theres nothing wrong with wanting to see some passion and I don’t think Kirk is using this as a barometer for effort.
  20. There's a novelty factor to Scotland football matches too IMO. Its usually a great day out, especially if the team is playing well. Scotland's rugby team play lower grade opposition too, Fiji, Samoa, Georgia and Italy are hardly world beaters. If anything, International rugby can be very repetitive due to the lack of teams playing it. SRU opperate a supporters club like the SFA - I am in both.
  21. you're showing an incredible level of ignorance here I attend matches at murrayfield every six nations and in the autumn, I also went to the world cup to see us play Samoa at St James's park. I am the furthest from middle class you can get, I'm basically a tink originally from a council estate. The people i go with are the same. We enjoy the sport, I'll admit I didn;t get into it till later in life because its not popular where i come from but its getting more popular as the town now has a team. If I can't make the actual match at Murrayfield, Dublin, Cardiff, London etc I am screaming at the TV the same way I would if it was the Scotland fitba team The support levels will never be on a par with football, football is more popular and always will be, certainly in my lifetime. I'm not sure what your point is re attendances. Can you clarify? I wouldn't suggest there should be no national stadium but if it became apparent that the Hampden option was no longer viable I would be happy enough for us to play at Murrayfield. Having one national stadium in the capital would be fine with me.
  22. I'm not sure if you're just having a bad day or you feel extremely passionate about this subject but you are doing Rugby a disservice here. Murrayfield was full to the gunnels at least five times last year which is very good considering its not our number one sport. That would indicate that someone cares more than 360 days a year.
