Stradlin played a few songs with the new GNR at Download 2006. Wasn't at the warm up gig a few days earlier as he went awol. Wouldn't surprise me to see him turn up and play a bit. Doubt he's be in for the long haul though.

Axl's voice is ####ed now. On the last tour it sounded like someone strangling a cat. That said, I'll still go.

I didn't watch the Georgia game (thank Christ) but he didn't cover himself in glory for Germany's second. I've never understood the Chick Young argument of he should be picked until he makes a mistake. The best/in form players should be picked. If you hold onto a certain player until he makes a mistake then the damage has already been done by the time he gets replaced

I would expect all managers to drill playing with and against 10 men. Sending offs are a part of the game so you should be prepared for it. Whether or not it's appropriate to bring it up in a press conference is another matter...

I'm working down in Warrington at the moment and I'll be going to university in Nottingham in September. Not particularly far obviously as I can get home in a few hours. I've done three 11-12 month backpacking trips. They were amazing however, I haven't been anywhere that I would like to live permanently.
