Never seen so much of it being so openly consumed as I did tonight. appears to me that it is becoming more and more prevalent. Gone seem to be the days when there was a steward or a copper on every turnstile searching everyone. I am in no way anti drink as anyone knows me knows. Just much more of it going on at internationals (at home). Also stewards and coppers seem to have become less visible in the ground with regards to standing in aisles, standing, being pished etc. being able to run on the park and taking selfies. Were they so overstretched in trying to look after the poles and prevent incidents? Far too many not going for the game anymore. Consider the number apparently already in Portugal and missing tonight. Merely my observations and opinions. This coming from the guy who didn't know what colour Scotland were playing in until half time in San Marino in 2001. Incoming.

Easy walk back into town. Got out the ground at 9;46 and was in Sammy dow's at Queen street station by 10;35 for a quick pint before seeing my mate on to the 11pm megabus back up to Aberdeen. think he's still on it though lol. had another couple there and went to campus in Sauchiehall Street. Another couple in there but left due to too many people being in party mood. WTF is that all about? Just been horsed out another tournament.

Congrats to the saintees today. At two down so early on and even at 3 1 down I thought the Dons could win. I was in the main stand today courtesy of a comp. In the first half I thought we could win. The whole team needs to play well to do that and although in an attacking sense in the first half we were pretty good it just didn't come off. For me Conso in the last year and a half has been excellent The last three games however he has reverted to type and surely can't complain if Reynolds is ushered back a bit sooner than would have been., As I say well done saints. Dons well beaten today. Do you see a different game from the mainer (FE, Susan) Instead of criticising the reds lets give Tommy Wright and his team, a bit of credit.

Oh and just for Ally Bongo, there was certainly no massive gulf between the teams tonight. I thought Accies fought hard and competed well. Their final ball to their frontmen let them down all too frequently tonight.

Am just back down the road in Glasgow after being up at the game. Aberdeen should have put the game to bed long before having to endure a very nervy last 10 minutes tonight. We missed a couple of good chances, hit the bar and McGovern pulled off a brilliant point blank save from a header. When big Ash Taylor went off with a head wound and Rooney dropped back to centre half I think Hamilton thought they could get something. No idea who the big number 44 was for accies but he caused big problems due to his height. Still, another clean sheet, 3 more points in the bag and a resilient performance tonight. Couldn't see how busy the Merkland was but I thought about 13500 there tonight. Not too bad. Only game I've missed was Kairat away and I can't get a ticket for Sunday. Anyone got a spare ticket or know of any going?

It's now or never for Aberdeen. I think defeat tomorrow even at this early stage of the season would have an enormous affect mentally on a lot of the players. Dhims conceding goals all over the shop compared to last season, coupled with potentially a new defensive pairing gives me all the confidence I need. There needs to be no pussy footing around. Get straight into them right from the word go. COYR.
