I did a Kutna Hora day trip last time after having seen the ossuary on Ewan McGregor's 'Long way round' TV programme. Centre is nice too. Well worth a visit.

I am planning on staying over until the Sunday so I may head up to one of the other places you mention for a night or too. Thanks for the tips.

If you have the time, then I'd definitely recommend Plzen (for the nightlife) or Cesky Krumlov (because it's an amazing place)
