WGS, Wee Gordon Strachan an Evening with- Highly recommended

Was at the east kilbride town hall event last night. 

Mr Strachan was in good form and he shared stories of his time as a player with Dundee, Aberdeen, Man U, Leeds Utd then Coventry as a player /manager.

Also was a played under Jock Stein with Scotland and who went onto have two campaigns Scotland as a manager.

He loved managing Scotland as if you fell out with a player you just didn't pick him again, unlike club football where the club paid wages.

His favourite player was Messi as he was a team player and celebrated a goal by a team mate as if it was one of his own.

Favourite manager Sir Alex Ferguson, although they had a strained relationship.  

I also gave WGS a badge I made for him whilst he Scotland manager.

Different class and was a very enjoyable evening.
