  1. Getting these in now, in case it closes early... or before some buggger goes and saves it
  2. Sincerely. Whether the TAMB lives or dies... Hope it doesn't come to this
  3. Aye, just my super clock powers. Dearie me
  4. Obvious, now you mention it thplinth. Very few flights have been far enough away to get a wide view. Most orbits will still be from just a few miles up. And they would have needed to fake simulate the curvature to make composites
  5. Can't believe I'm getting suckered into this. 2012 is easy. Taken from a lower altitude, so field of view is filled by N America. Funny how you can see further by flying higher in an airplane. I gave up on the OP video, as it wasn't funny for any more than 5 minutes. FFS, the Suez canal should drain from its ends since the middle is higher!??! Might as well say that if the earth is a sphere all the water should run from the north pole to the south and dribble off the bottom.
  6. I'm sure I used to wear that outfit Dave. The crimson version. With the platform shoes too. Didn't pull. Might have been the acne.
  7. Thanks Newryrep. You always get help on here. Lets see what they come back to me with. I expect they are busier than normal right now!
  8. In the next six weeks? Be aware that either or both of those flights could be cancelled.
  9. Exactly! Just a goal kick, and happy at 0-0 coming up for half time. Just remember a blur of white and thinking, "Is that the net moving?" Get shivers every time I see a picture of the scoreboard clock. Spent more time looking at it than the game.
  10. Tell me about it. At night, 44hr before departure, "there are two options available to you". 1. refund, 2. change flight for which they kindly waive their fee. However next flight was two days later and more expensive than the refund. Fuggin cheek of them. The refund button has disappeared now, so don't have that yet. Makes me appreciate BA's efforts to get us to the Sweden game when the scheduled flight had a mechanical. Wondering again what the point of travel insurance is (while we are still in the EU) other than flying your deid body home. Anyway, thanks to the TAMB for letting me let off some steam
  11. Just found out our insurance co. will not cover this. Am ragin' again.
  12. Nobody else here messed up by this? Left us stranded abroad 44hr before flight home More cancellations to come it seems for other folk. http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/15539753.Ryanair_to_cancel_up_to_50_flights_a_day_to_improve_punctuality/ Their expenses form seems only to cover a delay (no field on it to claim back flights from another airline), so I guess that will need to be covered by our travel insurance. Filled in a compensation form instead. Got back a day late on Easyjet.
  13. Don't forget your Glengarry...
  14. Know someone who spends all his summers in the Slovenian mountains, so have to get a trip in somehow after the game. Here's one of the day trip organizers... https://www.visitljubljana.com/en/visitors/tours-and-trips/alpine-fairytale/
  15. Sorry, GMC. We've gone off on tangents I think :-) . Photo is indeed KB2 as Teeko said.
