  1. Saw one nutter at george square singing rule brittania and saying wait till a couple of hours ..fooking union jacks everywhere. Thinl the police will be ready for them. Disgusting bunch of fuckwits.
  2. Disagree dave. For certain he will not enjoy the support he currently has from the little englanders. Possible loss of sponsorsbip. Of course he doesnt need the money but he will incur the wrath of many.
  3. Unfortunately i have to get train back to preston tomorrow afternoon. Came up this morning. Having a pint in kirkintilloch before heading info glasgow and just see how the night goes. I want to be in george square early morning celebrating tbe greatest Scottish victory ever.
  4. Just been to polling station in kirkintilloch. Yes rep in good spirits. Hes opening the door for everyone arriving. All yessers stopping for a chat and saying thankyou. Miserable no bastards not even saying thanks for him opening the door. Was great so see one woman so enthusiastic..she had never voted before and had been trying to convert all her mates with a reasonable degree of success.
  5. No need for him to do this..but huge respect to him. Putting his beliefs before his career.
  6. Margaret Bain (Ewing) was the SNP MP for East Dunbartonshire. She stood out as an excellent MP amongst much of the dross. Mind you so did one of the neighbouring MPs - John Smith. In 1979 I voted YES - its was my first ever vote - seemed sensible to me. Even though I moved to England in 1984 - Alex Salmond has always been my political favourite. A man of decency , a man of the people. I have never felt comfortable voting in England for any party - Tony Blair put me off Labour , then after voting Lib Dem (ha ha) - once they went to bed with the Tories that was it. I have always believed in Independence for Scotland - hope today and Friday is truly momentous in the right way. Coming up on train today - just have to be there. There are no words to express my feelings just now - fingers and everything else crossed.
  7. Ive done a lot of betting in my time and reckon I'm fairly savvy about odds etc (still lose though) -but considering the polls are neck and neck there is something deeply suspicious about the odds being offered. Hopefully I will benefit through the generous odds being offered.
  8. You cant help yourself annoying people can you? You must take great delight just making pompous little one-liners just to get up people's noses. Hopefully that criticism is within the bounds of me not getting banned again for personal abuse towards you - perhaps you are a tad sensitive.
  9. BBC assistant political editor having an orgasm live on air pontificating about Cameron's speech. absolute disgrace - Norman Smith - only stopped short of applauding Cameron -ffs - impartial - my fooking ar se.
  10. So who had the right time in the sweepstake for "Best of Both Worlds" ?
  11. I'm just becoming a gibbering wreck. Its taken over virtually every aspect of my life just now. Working nightshift is my only escape form it but during the day I'm reading facebook and the TAMB for reassurance. Conversely, Im watching Sky News and BBC News all day which makes me downright angry with the bias and sucking up to establishment. As has been said , if the media had been fair then I would have accepted a NO vote if that was the democratic wish of the people - but its YES or nothing for me, ps and even with the TAMB I have to put up with thee rantings of our resident village idiot - we all know who he is but I cannot name him as an idiot as I will receive a further ban for personal abuse.
  12. Clare Balding - she's involved in every fookin thing. Lord Donkey Gobbler?
  13. Coming up from England for the Thursday and have to be back down on Friday afternoon. Hoping to witness the most joyous night of my life and be out in George Square on Friday morning. I'm not even in Scotland just now but totally consumed in every way by this event. My utmost respect to all you guys up there doing the grassroots hard work and especially to Mr Salmond - a magnificent leader on whose giant shoulders this campaign has been spearheaded and who has endured the utter vitriol from the Establishment, Press and comments pages throughout every avenue of media. Fookin please let it be!
  14. Right up there for me as the highlight of the referendum campaign from Tommy - just fabulous - wont imagine many undecided watching that but if it is typical of Tommy's speeches throughout Scotland - good on him. Highlight so far - Alex Salmond speech at the end of the second debate with Darling. Personally - being involved in singing Flower of Scotland at the Germany game and the pre match party which was at times akin to a YES party.
  15. I'm coming up on Thursday - having to go back to England to work on Friday evening Taking all family stuff etc out of it - if this is a YES vote will be the most momentous and meaningful night of my life. Never been more passionate about any other cause. People down South just don't realise that - hopefully that passion has caught on with all the terrific work from the grass roots support. If its YES then I can sit and reflect on what we have achieved in the face of nonsense from MSM and take great satisfaction from it - then after Ive taken that in - there will be a huge GIRFUY from me as well to those who deserve it.
  16. Having heard from several people on the YES side as to a biggish majority from door to door canvassing and wondering whether its just people agreeing with canvassers ..its also very comforting seeing tweets from Sky political editor and other ones suggesting that on the NO side their private canvassing is very disappointing. Bookies odds were closing in and now drifting out for YES. All very puzzling. I'm just hoping that the vast majority of people are once a YES always a YES.
  17. The stupid cow asked Blair Jenkins if he would miss England if Scotland votes YES. He just looked at her stupidly and replied that we weren't going anywhere and he would still be visiting family in England. People texting in now asking about border controls and passports - total crap.
  18. Beeen watching both of these the last couple of days - absolutely laughable with the bias. Fortunately wouldn't imagine any undecideds watching this tripe. Look forward to a bit of proper democracy with a YES vote.
  19. Is that it? All that hullabaloo for that from Cameron and Milliband in front of an invited audience in a closed off room just coming out with ridiculous platitudes. They could have stayed in London and done the same. Darling and Prescott losing the plot being surrounded by hired cheerleaders. Its all down to Clegg now to save the union!
  20. Absolute car crash from the fat ugly bassa with his Britnat or Little Englander shyte. Join forces to beat the Germans - jeez. One of the most embarrassing bits of TV ever. Don't think we will see that on mainstream news.
  21. Been watching BBC and Sky news today. Overwhelming bias in favour of not breaking up the Union. Surely this is illegal so close to referendum. Just make it so much more enjoyable when the establishment has two fingers rammed right up them next week.
