  1. I'm flying Edinburgh - Hannover on the 12th (l booked this before the draw) and plan to get the train or bus to Munich on the 13th.
  2. I think it works as 2 train journeys per match. For example, to and from a host city from wherever as long as you have a match ticket. Folk saying there's limited availability are wrong (l think!) as that is for the inter-rail pass if you are coming from another country.
  3. How did you book the train chief? I tried to book but just got a message saying unavailable. Thanks Will
  4. Hi, I originally bought a ticket via the official UEFA website back in 2019. The ticket is on the mobile app, does anyone know how to get access to a souvenir ticket as l would like to add to my ticket stub collection? Cheers
  5. Yeah l agree with last 2 posters. Was very quick process, just the finger printing took the longest. For the record the dark haired lass who served me was really nice and was smiling away!
  6. There was about 500 Scotland fans at the Kazakhstan game and l reckon it will be similar numbers for the Russia game but l could be wrong! I'd expect anyone that is going will get a ticket but don't quote me on that!
  7. Thanks Davy. Just wired you £10 for the Larnaca bus to the game. Cheers, Will
  8. Be careful saying such things on here. I alluded to this earlier and got reported for it.
  9. I've only been to Moscow and Irkutsk (near Lake Baikal) which I recommend if you have the time. It's a long way though. I've heard Yekaterinburg is meant to be nice.
  10. I remember they were like that when l applied for my visa in 2010, must be the same ones! The locals in Moscow can seem like that but the ones that would help you out were superb and couldn't be nicer. Must be a capital city thing (Edinburgh excluded of course).
  11. Hi Davy, Could l ask for one seat on the bus from Larnaca please? Cheers Will
  12. Cheers for the reply. It's a bit of nightmare that but it is what it is. What's your plan for getting into Moscow (assuming your staying there) from the airport? If you don't mind me asking of course. I asked the hostel I'm staying at about airport transfer and they were wanting to charge me 3500 rubles (£48) for one way! According to the airport website you can get a taxi to the city centre for around 1000 rubles (£12) which is much more reasonable. I think there might be a night bus also so I may check that out first.
  13. I've booked a hostel that's quite central called Kremlin Lights only £13 a night but it is a 6-bed dorm.
  14. I'm heading over via the same route as you but Wed 9/10 to Fri 11/10 and l paid £250 for the privilege but l only booked it last week. Can't wait, l've been to Moscow before hence the shorter trip. Does your Riga flight get in to Moscow at 1am like mine?
  15. Sorry l don't understand what you mean? Reported to who? A mate bought a ticket thinking he was going to go but his circumstances changed outwith his control and can no longer go. I don't see what the problem is. Someone was looking for a ticket and l offered to help them out. He's not looking for a profit and will accept face value. This all feels a bit like when someone stops to help somebody else in an accident and the helper then gets robbed. Thanks for grassing me up. Apologies if l've misunderstood you and this was meant as a joke?
  16. Hi my mate pulled out at last minute so my brother and I may have a spare ticket if you still need one? Send me a PM if you do. Cheers!
  17. Hi Davy, I paid for my brother and myself about a week ago so not sure if you received payment ok and I've no idea which bus we are on (assuming you found the payment)? I can PM you if you need more details. Thanks, Will
  18. Lol you may well be right. It's a shared dorm which is why it is so cheap!
  19. Sorry to hear of your bad experience. Thanks for the advice though but l've stayed in hostels all around the world. And yes they can be a bit hit n miss at times although l will say generally most are fine if you do your homework. I've checked this one out via hostelworld and it looks good. There's only 1 review as it's really new by an American (in my experience they are generally fussy) and they gave it an excellent review. I'll take the risk. The hostel l stayed in Albania was same price and it was good enough. My reasoning is l don't have a lot of money and ld rather spend it on beer. Where you lay your head is here nor there when you are 3 sheets to the wind!
  20. Sorry forgot to mention that this was for a Return as well. Thanks
  21. Hi Davy, Can I reserve 2 seats for the Rimini-San Marino bus if there are any spare available please? Thanks Will
  22. I'm similar to you but arrive 05:40 on the Wednesday morning. My hostel said they would let me leave my bag there but check-in isn't until 3pm (this could get messy!). Might go for the early pub option too depending on what state I'll be in.
  23. I'm staying in a brand new hostel, Hostel Forum, that's £6 a night. Anyone else staying here?
  24. I'm doing something similar but via Frankfurt and Cologne. The Frankfurt to Cologne leg is by bus. I also paid £10 for a first class train ticket to go from Bologna to Rimini. The bus from Bologna Airport to the Train Station is 6 Euros which you can also book online (apparently its a 25 mins journey).
