Not sure how I feel that Ireland qualified. Obviously gutted we're not going, Ireland and Poland above us never even took 3 points off us in any of our games. The only thing I can take from this is we were in a difficult group (3 teams qualified) If you look at who Wales and NI had, I'm sure we would have qualified out their groups.

Ignoring the November round and our World Cup group, I think a friendly or 2 in March/May will be decided by who Wales & NI get in their Euro group.

Considering our last 3 friendlies (England, Northern Ireland & Qatar) were all at home, I would have thought the next for us will be away.

I can only assume Strachan has told them they're not playing in which case is disappointing.

I respect players leaving for injuries but how are these drop outs going to stake a claim for the starting 11 if they don't have the commitment and patience to get a run out. This Gibraltar game is an opportunity. If they aren't interested then they can sod off!

Why has Griffiths and Rhodes dropped out? I haven't seen that they're injured. These 2 guys need game time.

Would love to throw Rhodes in there somewhere most likely for Maloney even though out of position somewhat. In my selection I'd ideally have Rhodes where Naismith is playing but can't choose both unfortunately.

I was looking into this as well. The stadium is served with a rail station Parque Das Cidades which has trains from Faro through the day but looking at the timetable there isn't a train going back in after the game, however surely extra services would be put on for evening games? In any case I've requested to join a bus from Hotel Eva, it's the easiest option.
