  1. I hope so and we're not still having it! Our performance in Warsaw was great, especially the 1st half. I think we kept possession for about 70%. No idea what's gone wrong since then, it's almost the same team...
  2. Rancheros - only ever saw them at Rugby Park... Argentina veterans, was it Soccer Stars crisps you got then? Think they were star shaped and had a World Cup football card inside them. I recall my delight when I pulled big Joe out the bag
  3. As much as I'd like to see it, I'd say it would be unlikely. For starters he'll be 71, then there's the fact he faces huge opposition from the PLP. It'll probably be a case of how much he can reshape Labour policy and who his successor will be. So I'd say the odds were long, that said I wish I'd put a tenner on him in June
  4. Bottom of the table clash at Tannadice is now even more significant with ICT picking up points...
  5. Celtic are going to have a brand new central defence today. It'll be interesting to see how that pans out...
  6. Who'll take Morrison's though?...
  7. Unless we both beat Poland, then Poland will be 4th...
  8. Salt n' Shake. What an absolutely pointless exercise!
  9. Reminds me of McTernan, espousing international socialism and British nationalism in the same soundbite. Hope Jezza wins btw...
  10. Google image search confirms it. The autographs are Jardine, Johnstone, Hansen, Stanton and McLean. Bizarre personal trivia, the first time I heard Alan Hansen speak was on the car radio coming home from the 1979 League Cup final (he'd scored for Liverpool that day) where I had just met and got autographs of the other 4 players above!
  11. Templetons made your money go round... Fine Fare was the business, hard to beat having a cupboard full of yellow boxes and tins to show you were a cheapskate.
  12. Appropriate he's signed for Hibs, seems to be following in the footsteps of Riordan and O'Connor...
  13. It's always seemed crazy to me that they rebuilt the road in the 70s and didn't make it just a bit wider. Terribly short sighted...
  14. Wear it wi yer jeans then....
  15. You can hear the tribute again, from 9min 30 in... http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0324n9p
  16. It's not exactly ideal terrain for road building though...
  17. Being discussed on Sportsound the now...
  18. An Irish equalizer of course...
