The SFA can't do much to mitigate against the Scottish winter. Rugby Park used to have one of the best surfaces in Britain but then the stadium was rebuilt meaning the park got very little sunlight in winter. I suppose demolishing the now mothballed Moffat Stand would help there but that's a bit drastic...
