    Hutton

Robertson should start at LB from now on. Against better teams I'd have Whittaker at RB and have Hutton only against the weaker sides as he is better going forward than having to do proper defending.
  2. I think folk are forgetting that both RoI and Poland have 3 points from the gift that is Gibraltar. Effectively we are all on 4 points when the gimme results are removed.
  3. Why am I so bloody nervous? Just not used to us being good and playing well. Cmon Scotland get a third and let me calm down a bit. ?
  4. I agree totally. Hope it's just about empty but can't see it happening!
  5. September 84. I was 16 and went with my friends. My Dad only took me to Rangers games. We beat Yugoslavia 6-1. Just about floated home! I thought we were phenomenal and we were bound to win the next World Cup. ??
  6. At the game I thought Fletcher was poor. Still think that. He had a couple of touches that worked and a barrel load of wasted possession. Naismith linked the play better by dropping into space between the lines but his finishing was his normal poor stuff. If we could take the best bits of the two and combine then it would be great but since that technology is a bit away then I think Naismith will start tomorrow as he works much harder than Fletcher.
  7. I know what you mean. I'm not going to any of these 3 games. Far too expensive for the product on show. Sadly the only way these games attendance will be adversely affected is if we lose to Poland. Not something I'd wish for at any time, even if it did sort out The twats at the SFA!
  8. Fletcher was a wasted jersey. Naismith was a tremendous out ball and link up. Played well apart from finishing. Neither Hutton nor Maloney can cross. They were mince. Only hit the byline once and that produced a dangerous cross. Robertson was excellent but Anyi was also too slow in thinking what to do. Game didn't suit him. Brown was excellent and bossed the middle of the park Hanley and Martin were rock solid too. Overall it's a 7 out of 10 and we could play a lot better.
  9. Under 35k for this game is an utter embarrassment for the SFA but they won't admit it. Hopefully much less at England and RoI games and then just maybe they'll take action.
  10. The atmosphere was OK as Ibrox works fine once you get over 30k in it. Problem was we were just about all in the cheapest seats so it was embarrassingly obvious how many folk were not there. It also meant that the only section that you could buy children's tickets in was overly full of groups of adults with the wrong attitude. Language was utterly disgusting and the amount of fannies that had to be told to sit down was disgraceful. I'm not slow in coming forward but there was no stewarding whatsoever and a few near fisticuffs. Fans let themselves down in my opinion. My 8 year old will have learned some new and inappropriate words from yesterday. I would complain to the Sea but I reckon that's what would happen, SFA!
  11. No an indirect correlation. The program was always going to cause some kind of trouble.
  12. And that makes you a bigot. No better than the thugs burning flags in George Square.
  13. People seem to be missing the point of the Livi program. It was done to cause trouble. We all know the type of knuckledraggers that exist amongst the Rangers away support. What did the idiot who wrote this think would happen? He got his sad wee jollies writing guff and other folk like the Police and decent fans have to deal with the trouble he caused. Totally irresponsible and quite frankly the chairman of Livi is letting his own fans down if he doesn't get rid of the clown. What will he write about Celtic if they come visiting? Or Hearts?
  14. Hard to know what the right decision is. He was convicted so "is" a rapist. I wouldn't be able to accept him at my team and opposition fans will have a field day. It would probably best for him to go abroad for a while or even lie low until the press get bored before he tries to restart his career.
  15. This is why I have avoided the 45 pish that's been going about. It does nothing but alienate those that need to be converted.T One thing I do disagree with you on is No voters singing FoS. I wouldn't attack them for doing it but can't understand why they would want to sing it. They chose not rising and no nationhood so the song will be ridiculous from their lips.
  16. Stop being stupid. Do you honestly believe 100% of England fans sing the anthem? They don't. Not even all of their team sing it. Your point is utter nonsense.
  17. Technically yes we can, however we just had the chance to do that and chose not to.So effectively the line in the song could be "and pigs can fly now" as it's also possible but won't happen. The song has no meaning now other than as a lament for lost glories. The people chose not to rise, so singing the song is ridiculous in my eyes. If others feel different then good for them.
  18. No I don't sing Doe a deer as it's a ridiculous song with heehaw to do with my team. I think it originated from the TA being depressed and bored with piss poor Scotland performances but have no idea who thought it a good idea. Shows contempt for the team in my opinion. You obviously have a different opinion to me on FoS which is fair enough. You sing all you like. Out of interest, are you going to the England game and if so will you sing it then? I am expecting the Ingerland fans to piss themselves laughing at that point. After all we boo GSTQ so I think their revenge will be extensive.
  19. You really need to learn to see in more than black and white. I sang FoS and meant/felt every word. You obviously didn't. I have no problem with that. It does however mean that the song is now meaningless to me. It had no meaning for you before so it's not changed for you.I also won't be negative at the game, I just won't sing FoS. If that means the boys aren't up for the game then they're not worthy of the jersey. Professionals perform every time irrespective of the atmosphere. Hopefully we win as we'll need 4 points from the next two games.
  20. Lamia, thanks for the support but I've given up on trying to explain my opinion. Too many people on here equate not singing FoS with giving up. I will keep trying, like Robert the Bruce and his spider, and hope but at present there's no logical reason for another independence vote on the horizon. I don't think I'll be here for it but I'll put everything into getting another vote, whenever it happens.Anyone who thinks Scotland exists as a country needs to wise up. We've chosen to be nothing more than a region just like Catalonia is. We will lose our "national" team, if FIFA have their way and it will not matter a toss what we think. Sing the song if you want. You're just whistling in the graveyard.
  21. What have polls got to do with anything? We thought that we could gain independence if given the chance, sadly 55% of the people living in North Britain did not agree.I put a lot of time and effort into the Yes campaign despite never having campaigned or been a member of a political party before. I did it to try and educate people into wanting to stand on their own two feet. I still feel gutted and will do for some time. I have not stopped campaigning nor will I until we are free. I do not however feel the same pride I once did in saying that I'm Scottish as Scotland has ceased to exist as a country now. Because of this FoS has lost its meaning and engenders nothing but bitterness and disgust in me now. I won't be singing it and cannot understand why anyone still thinks it is appropriate. Especially Unionists. If you voted No and you sing FoS, I hope you suffer miserable guilt over what you've done for all of your days.
  22. I will be joining you in my choice of attire. No Scotland tops anymore for me. We chose not to be a country so no anthem either. Just respecting the majorities decision. I will continue to campaign for a Yes but I won't be alive to see it. I doubt Westminster will give us another chance for at least 20 years. Why would they? There's only problems for them if they do.I won't cover my tshirt up no matter what anyone says.
  23. As a Rangers supporter I take exception to your generalisations. We are not all knuckledraggers nor are all of the TA holier than thou angels on the side of democracy. Grow up FFS!There will undoubtedly be idiots there to goad the fans but it's up to you to be an adult and remember the example you set to the kids that will be there.
  24. This. Not to mention that the No voters will get a wee perverse kick our of the twee Ta sing song. I also wonder about this we will get another chance" theme that's sprung up. Based on what exactly? Why would Westminster even risk this again? If they choose not to then we don't get another chance ever. And as was pointed out often enough even if every ascot votes the same way it matters not one jot to the Government.
