  1. The whole team were poor including Brown and Naismith and theyve been our most reliable performers recently. Forsyth was out of his depth and Whittaker would have been a far better choice. He can defend fine when he's told to concentrate on that instead of bombing on. Hutton defies belief in the number of caps he's got. But do we have real, quality options?
  2. I'm the same as far as Football Manager is concerned. But it did have Freddie Adu as the next Pele a few years ago. ?
  3. Not signed on the dotted line yet. Hopefully they will though as I don't want McCall.
  4. The owner of the club owns some betting websites I think. He wanted to use his statistical approach on players but Warburton wanted a say as he felt there were sometimes other factors to be taken into consideration.
  5. Head to head is the decider in this competition I think.
  6. Feels like Strachan started off looking for a point and never tried to win it. Very, very poor performance from us. We deserve to lose this game.
  7. Strachan's team choice is costing us. Forsyth isn't good enough, Mulgrew looks rusty as hell and Ritchie might as well be invisible.
  8. Mature attitude. There's ways and means to getting on top of dirty bassas like him.
  9. Forsyth looks a liability. Shouldn't be playing on his showing so far.
  10. Forsyth, Mulgrew and Ritchie? 3 big gambles in the most important game we've had in years. Not very confident now but hope I'm wrong.
  11. Who knows. People tell wee lies like this all the time. If we all got called out on them every time there'd be as many arguments on the street as there are on here! ?
  12. Rather tame lie. Why would whether or not his father was a Rangers supporter be important? And it does make you look a little sad and obsessed.
  13. I think he's saying that he would develop and bring through young players at Ibrox who would be of the quality of boys like Gauld etc. Not that they'd sign for us over Sporting Lisbon.
  14. Pity. He'd be the best choice under a Director of Football to let him just get on with developing players.I'll keep dreaming until such times as the new manager is announced.
  15. Exactly. It actually makes King look more sensible. Which is something of a surprise. ?
  16. So it appears the court case was over none of this, just an injunction to stopped real details of the Sports Direct deal with the old board being made public. It's almost like Mike Ashley has something to hide. Those painting Dave King to be the bad guy maybe need to realise it's not all black and white (note spelling!). Ashley is an untrustworthy snake too.
  17. Watching those guys playing made me the player I am today. A dirty, hacking ! ? I love watching real defenders at work.
  18. Every time I've seen him he's been blowing oot his arse after 60-65 minutes.I doubt he scores many goals in the big games beyond that Mark. Just my impression, I've no stats to prove it.
  19. This.Every time a banker opens their mouth to speak there should be a loud public warning that there is bullshit coming!
  20. I agree on this. He's not got the mentality to play for a big club.Whilst he's a good player he only plays for about 60 mins before running out of steam.
  21. I've no facts to back it up by it felt like MON spent far more than WGS and didn't ever get the consistency out of his squad. He did manage some big wins/events like the UEFA cup final and giving us a couple of pumpings. WGS built a squad that kept on winning. He is a far better manager in my book.
  22. Don't think the big man was ever accused of being a sprinter! Definitely more a physical presence.
  23. Apologies if there's a thread already but I've just seen the news that Colin Jackson has passed away. Surprised by how upset it's made me but I grew up watching the big man playing with Forsyth, Greig, McCloy and the rest. Real heroes with the club at heart. Rip Bomber.
