Any locals or regulars to Metz got any tips on where to park safely, near to the ground, as leaving straight after?

If you're driving to Metz, go thru Belgium and Luxembourg and avoid tolls, only 30mins longer, around 4 1/2 - 5hrs. Fill up in Lux as it's approx 90c a litre, about 75p for diesel. Anyone driving down the M2, pull off at J4 and fill up at Sainsburys, Hempstead Valley, Rainham, 1/4 mile off the M2, for 20p a litre cheaper than the Medway services and no great delay. A full tank of fuel here, will easy get you to Lux, about 250miles away.

Me my bud got St Mirren ones. He sold 4 in total that day, couldn't believe his luck, first ones he's ever sold.

Did Lux city in December, cracking place. You need to head down into the dip, under the bridge for the nightlife. Don't know about Sundays, but Fri and Sat were jumping.

Rhodes is banging goals away in the Championship, far more than Griffiths did during his time. Now LG is scoring goals for Celtic, in a very poor league, I can't fathom why he gets the nod before Rhodes. I can understand why Fletcher gets picked, he is relatively pacey, good at coming back and holding up play, releasing others when doing so, and a decent tackler/defender when called upon. He's not a great scorer of goals, but sometimes is a scorer of great goals. I will throw into the mix.. Ross McCormack? Have I missed something here, is there a reason he doesn't get picked, has he deselected himself? The guy has been doing a great job for years, banging them in, and setting others up, at a decent level too.

Cadiz, loads of history, Jerez, home of sherry, Seville, city of culture not long ago. Gibraltars a bit of a hike but worth it, and can be pricey for accom. Try La Linea, just over the border (1km) if you stay over. Has a nice square with bars to boot.

It's hard to blame his tactics when some of the team didn't turn up today. Brown was pedestrian, was responsible for the goal, and did not pass a single ball allowing a player to run on to it. Every ball he played was flat or direct. The Georgians even gave the midfield away to him, and he did nothing with the space. There was a promising start with plenty of possession, but the Georgians worked us out early. We need to put balls into the danger areas, not wait for gaps by passing backwards all game.

Dogs should be alright, they're neutered by the state, so that takes the aggression out of them. Usually they spend all day sleeping in the open, and roam the bins at night, like foxes.

Was based there in 94, when the British Army & RAF were moving out, and the Gib Regt were taking over all the bases. Heatwave, and the binmen were on strike. Place stunk to high heaven, in 50Deg, the locals dumping their rubbish all over the island. Was at the handing over ceremony of RAF Gib, when the Raf Regt were all pissed on a balcony and jeering throughout. A few demotions the next day, I remember. Don't have great memories of the place, seemed empty, 'cept when the Navy turned up, then it was just heaving wi drunken matelots. Only a few bars in 'Irish Town' (one street, 4 bars I think). We used to cross over to La Linea and drink there, or weekends in Finger-up-her, (Fuengirola). All that aside, the place is iconic, and if you can get on a tunnel tour, even better if you know someone in the military there, and get to see the tunnels the tourists don't.

Look on Easyjet site, there were packages there last month for under £200 for the week, might have to fly out of London though
