  1. Amazingly there were enough people going to this game to allow us to run a bus from the Butterburn pub in Hamilton and there are some spaces available if anyone is interested. At the moment it is £5 a head return however if we get enough the price comes down. Leaving the pub at 6:45 with a pick up in Hillhouse Road. PM me if interested
  2. It does say when you get as far as you can without a 'club card' that the tickets can be purchased without a club card at the stadium box office. Need a wee guy (like the Prague Tourist Board people) to get the tickets with a mark up for his trouble or ask the hotel to purchase them
  3. Forget it - that link doesn't work without a Hungarian club card If you know any Hungarians...

  5. Alex Neil for me. He was a bit too loyal in his 2nd season at Norwich however has learned from that. Outstanding organisation and great football to watch. Tactically excellent and critically he gets the very best out of ordinary players. Best ever football Accies played was under him and at this stage in the 2014 / 2015 season we were top of the Premier league having just beaten Celtic away and McCarthy and McArthur had gone by that time. Surely the SFA can get him to leave Preston North End (even though they're going great guns in the Chamionship at the moment). This job should NOT be for someone who is merely available!
  6. Honestly Alex Neil is the man. The style of football, organisation etc is just what we need. Davie Moyes would only be because he is available - theis is the Scotland manager position FFS!
  7. I'm glad he's gone - it was time for a change (he did well this year however). No way is he close to being as bad as Levein and to a lesser extent Vogts. Hopefully the new guy will forget about loyalty and pick the players who deserve to be there. Also, the Scotland job should not be for someone who is merely available- we need to go out and get the best man for it.
  8. Alex Neil can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear and play entertaining football. With Paul lambert as an assistant
  9. Had a really good 2017 - 4 wins, 2 draws and no defeats.. however after these genetics comments he has to go. If he stays we could play home games at Douglas Park (and keep the Gazeebo shut) its an Alex for me (Neil or McLeish)
  10. How many in your party, sounds like you have the same issue as us .
  11. Flying from Venice 1pm on Monday but the 9am Flixbus from Ljubliana doesn't get us there on time . Earlier bus is 3am (!) getting us to Venice at 7am , but would be interested to know if anyone is driving there in the morning and has room for 2 footsoldiers .
  12. This is heading for a sell out. Looking at the website I would say about 3000 left
  13. oh you're right it is 5 pm our time - still no problem I'd say (20 minutes in a taxi from the stadium and the airport will be quiet at that time)
  14. The game finishes at 6:45 so absolutely no problem - no flights back up to Scotland after you get back to these airports until the next morning though
  15. Actually the sales look really good this far away from the game. Waiting for South stand upper to go on sale (hate the way they open it up section by section)
  16. advice, over the years, for tickets at away games and flights etc has been priceless. very sad
  17. This will be a certainty for some of my mates. Anyone got any ideas?
  18. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/11021771/world-cup-play-offs-explained-could-wales-scotland-northern-ireland-republic-of-ireland-be-involved the table in this report is really good
  19. I'm a Hamilton Accies and a Scotland fan. I wanted both managers to go last year as they seemed clueless and team selections seemed inexplicable. I am in the strange situation of thinking that both are learning (or changing strategy) meaning vast improvements in the teams. The watershed was the Wembley game where we looked much better. This has been followed up by dropping Hanley and Martin and playing Tierney at right back. Strachan is worth hanging on to at the moment in my opinion.
