  1. He (and his teammates to be fair) has been poor. The big lad upfront for Lincoln completely bossing it. Sadly, still reckon Berra is our best centre half...
  2. I was in Glasgow city centre (4pm ish) after the match and unless I knew any better, you wouldn't have thought there had even been a game on. Saw as many Partick and Dundee Utd fans as I did Rangers and Celtic.
  3. Aye it was! I'm just reading it back to myself and laughing heartily.
  4. Good header from Lindsay there - might just turn out to be Scotland material (especially given the options we have there just now)
  5. Can't think of any occasion when a team has scored two goals in as quick succession - anyone think of anything quicker?
  6. Maybe its age, but I've become immune to the "party songs". Doesn't make it right though. Though Thistle had contained Celtic quite well, but it was a great cross from Griffiths - right into Andy Gray's corridor of uncertainty
  7. Don't watch much football these days (young son!), but watching this game tonight. Lad up front for Hearts has been sensational - where'd he come from? What's his background? Impressive performance!
  8. East Kilbride lost to Spartans yesterday ending their impressive run.
  9. Plenty people around me clapped the team off the park v Lithuania a couple of months ago. I was in shock.
  10. I look forward to this League of Nations when we will neither be able to dictate who we play in 'friendlies' or if we even play at all. Talking of which, the draw for that must have some date in mind?
  11. Amazed that anyone can summon the enthusiasm to get booked up for this at the minute! That said no doubt in a few weeks I'll be on Skyscanner
  12. So what? Scotland could always take the initiative and try it out. On the face of it, it does seem a fairly sensible suggestion to me. And given where we are just now, we're going to have to start trying some rather leftfield stuff. To try it out though we require a friendly game for sole purposes of trying things out. And as we all know when it comes to friendlies we either A- don't play them or B- use them as a money making exercise.
  13. I think they will. They've done so well in recent years, so was just wondered if their gaffer would be worth considering. That said, I don't think our media (nor a percentage of our fans) would accept hiring a guy from the likes of The Faroes
  14. Who's the Faroes manager. Might be worth a look? (currently 74th in the rankings)
