it was a bad tackle and should have been a red card. to say he should never play for Scotland again is way OTT. He is a good player and has done a good job in a hard game on a bad pitch for us in the past. If you go down the road of he is not Scottish then we will need to ditch half the squad. i'm sure you were saying why is maloney playing for us after the ROI game. I don't like the rules on who can play for what country but they are in place and we have to use them like everyone else.

Has anyone looked at a Taxi from the Airport to Metz and if they have how much would it cost?

Pasta Mick I still don't think there is a lot of difference between the bottom of the EPL and the top of the championship. yes playing in the EPL you play against better players but if you are playing for a struggling EPL team your confidence takes a big dip and so does your performance. as there is no great difference in ability in most of our players I would still go with the players who are full of confidence and winning most games.

What we need is players playing in the top teams in the top Leagues. We don't have any at the moment. Not counting this season in the EPL but I think the top teams are. 5 or 6 in the EPL 2 in France 6 in Spain and 3 or 4 in Italy not that many teams when put like this. without any top players and the SPL struggling we will always struggle. after the top teams I don't think there is much difference between the EPL and the Top of the Championship. I would rather have a top Championship player than a struggling EPL player.

I don't get this we are the poorest home nation.............. ok we didn't make the finals but that was more down to us being in a hard group than being poor.. if we were in NI group we would of got there. if we had Greece as out number1 seeds then we would have qualified. we have improved a lot over the last few years and with a few changes we will be even better.

I know it is the rules but I hate the thought of it happening now and before. I would love it to be where you are born and the Parent rule only. every other country use it so if we want a better team we have to. When you look at it it happens in every sport. I think with caulker it will feel worse as he has already played for Ingerland.

well-done to Griffiths but to put the SPL anywhere near as competitive now as it was when Larson played is just laughable. I think the standard of football in the SPL now is the worst I have ever know.

Lambert saying no clubs have come in for Rhodes. They want something like 12 million for him. No wonder he is still there no one will pay that for him. Middlesbrough only put in an offer for £6m for McCormack and I think he is a better player.

I have not seen much of Bridcutt but the 1 game he had over in Croatia he played very well for us. I think Copper Russell Armstrong should be called up for theses 2 friendlies.

I rate Arfield and think GS should give him a chance. I don't get why people keep saying we don't need any players in midfield. We concede far to many goals and yes we did score a few more goals in the last campaign but We didn't keep the clean sheets and are midfield is as much at fault as the defence. They didn't track the runners or help the defence when we needed it. They struggle to keep the ball and win it in key areas.

ProudScot I think that is the point we have a player that is being talked about to play for a top club but cant get into our side. we have 2 players in Brown and Morrison who are not good enough together but still start most games. this is where we need more friendlies so we can try new things. I don't think Arsenal is the right move but I think he should be used more for us next year.

If anything I am comparing how we played as a team when we had a bit more of a creative player in the middle. Mulgrew did a great job when he played there as he has a lot of composure on the ball. Morrison doesn't have that.

I know it was a nothing game but I think we played very well against Gibraltar. Maybe the one to hang up his boots is Morrison

I would love to know the person who has the final say in this???? we have had maybe 3 good tops in the last 10 years. I think both tops looks rubbish from the pictures may change my mind when I see them.. again it looks like I will be saving my money. I think the all blacks will win it. there backs are a lot better than the argies and they had a lot of chances to score if they just passed the ball out wide.

The only scarf I have bought was the Scotland v France one. I got it before the game don't know why as I never buy them. It was a Half and Half with the home dates on one side and the away dates on the other. look what happened in the games maybe I should start buying more.

I have watched almost every game and loved it. it has been a great World Cup until last weekend. I struggled to watch this weekend and when I watched the Aussies all I could think about was it should have been us. I think the Football then the Rugby took its toll on me. Sport is now off my list of interests.

I think the biggest problem for the whole of the campaign was we stuck with the same formation and the same players. We didn't try and change it even when we were getting beat in Georgia we stuck with the same formation. The defence was leaking stupid goals and doing the same thing all the time. Pumping the ball up to 1 player hoping for a knock on then no one being there to get it. There corner we had every player in our box defending. no outlet when the ball is cleared. except the Poland home game when we were 1 down. No width with the fullbacks (when they have the ball) giving the opposition an easy pass and we ended up chasing shadows. This happened every game and not once did we try to do it a bit different. Makes us very easy to play against. Rant over next time midfield and forwards.lol

Fletcher should and did play the Poland game as it was to late to try something new. He should not of started the Gibraltar game and Strachan should of given someone else a chance.

Marky I like the rocket surgery. That sums up the some of the people on the board. if we all thought the same the board would be very boring. I think we will win both games. Win 1 - 0 Poland. A late goal as they are going for the draw. Win 5 - 1 Gibraltar

Dorrans not a bad replacement. Robroysboy Strachan is not the only one who rates Mulgrew. I would have him in the midfield before Morrison or Brown and he has done a good job when played at the back. I would play him and Fletcher in the middle. It would give us 2 players who can hold on to the ball and pass to 1 of our players instead of giving the ball away like Brown and Morrison do.

We drive the 350 miles up for the game on the Thursday then straight back down to Stansted for a 07.30 flight. no drinking and not much sleep but i'm sure a week in the Algarve AI will help us get over it.

People at home that go to the pub should get a point then. No difference.
