  1. I'm not sure, but I read I think somewhere on here that the Libs for the whole of the Uk have just over 40,000 members. SNP, if this momentum keeps on will have more than that by the end of the week and the Greens to be 2nd biggest party in Scotland!
  2. Hahaha - thank you, this made me laugh out loud for the first time since Thursday. Babs, eh? What made you order that.
  3. I think and hopefully a YesAlliance can come together encouraging Yes voters something like a vote SNP for Westminister and then give SSP, Greens, Solidarity a list vote for Holyrood.
  4. Who's with me? I've slept I think 5hrs since Thursday. I'm tired and hugely emotional, but we keep going. Some are done with Scotland, I thought I would be and in betwen the tears, I don't want to give up. I want to keep going and want us all to keep up too. I've probably repeated mysef on other threads, but we help each other - we support all the Yes movements (and from the sounds of it ) they will all keep going, but we find an alliance e.g we vote SNP for Westminister, Greens, SSP for Holyrood. All of us who engaged in this process do not give up. We give many of us gutted time to release the rage/anger, but we channel this and move on together as a lose alliance. We can't give up, not yet. Not when the 4 poorest areas of Scotland voted yes - we cannot leave them behind.
  5. And, let us grieve, Eddard, before jumping down my throat. This is for us hurting. Post up your quotes or soundbytes you've heard so far. But so far from 1 definite No and the other (who won't tell me ''my vote is private'') "The big 3 came up to Scotland to show us how much they care for us" "My vote's a private thing. I know you are hurting, but I don't think Eck was the right man for the job''
  6. Don't worry, skipper. We've all shed tears. I think I've slept about 5hrs since Thursday and that's with no alcohol. Just numb, but ready to and support/help everyone who helped us achieve this goal of having this vote. A number of people are already regreting this. We see Salmond stepping down, and near enough half of our nation/region (use as applicable) walking around gutted. Common Weal, Bella, National Collective, and many others are going to keep going. We want you to come with us and help us.
  7. You'll never understand how hurt so many of us are.
  8. I thought I'd feel this way and I know you are hurting. I feel the other way now. We, 1.6million people voted yes - it would have been enough if it was 80% or less turnout. Everyone in Yes is hurting - we all need to put our money where our mouth is and back them all, support them and we need to work together. Radical Independence's November conference is already sold out, National Collective are going to keep going, Bella are too. We don't give up at all. The SNP had 5000 more new members in the space of 30 hrs today at lunch time, I'm guessing by the end of the week that'll be over 10k at least. The Lib Dems have around 40000 members, the SNP now 30000. I'm not saying join the SNP, but 'grieve' if that is the word - I have and still am, but I am so determinted more than ever now to not give up and keep going. 4 pals of mine - 2 have joined the SNP, 1 the Greens and the other is planning on joining the SSP. We all keep going and we support each other and if that is through membership or simply turning out on election day and voting tactically e.g SNP for Westminister, and then give the Greens/SSP/and whatever new movements arise as parties on the list vote. I'm gutted alright, but let's keep going. So many of us are not giving up. Come join us.
  9. This sounds incredibly bitter, but knowing a large number of ex Rugby players all backed and actively did a No vote. Is anyone else not kinda hoping our already poor team gets a pummeling next year and the World Cup too? That sounds terrible, but I can't bare hearing the proud Scots like Andy Nicol, David Sole, and Doddie Weir with his tartan on TV spouting the cliche after lie about how proud they are or belting out Flower of Scotland.
  10. You do have that right and I accept the vote. I find it very hard at this moment to call it a ''country'' though and sorry, if this sounds very harsh, but its because of you voting no (if you did indeed do that).
  11. I'm listening to Radio 5 now. Yes/No voters in a debate in Dundee. I'm literally 'cringing' at No voters saying this ''country'' and refering to Scotland when doing so.
  12. Aye, I'm a Dundonian of Glaswegian/Donegal/Barra (70% yes) stock. Cannae be prouder.
  13. Seen a few reTweets on Twitter and some are as devasted as us on the Yes side.
  14. And so did my parents today. This referendum may have been won by no, but long term Labour have lost this.
  15. If you can bare listening to it, but it's a 5hr special. Looking forward to hearing now the Nos who voted on the back of the ''Vow'' are saying today.
  16. I seen a great Tweet from someone "Green and SSP chums let's do a deal. You vote SNP for Westminister and you'll be our list vote for Holyrood."
  17. The Tories have played a blinder (UK wide) in this. Send Broony and Labour up to Jockland to save the Union and they themselves only come up to speak to their Standard Life chums or Conservative party activists with minimal interaction with the public or media, didn't they even refuse STV an interview with Poncy or Osborne did back in February. The Tories re-galvinised and run on a UK ticket of Cameron being the PM who saved the Union. Labour's vote collapses in Scotland thanks to the Yes voters engagement in politics, SNP get at least double figures of MPs next year. UKIP's strong polling fades as it becomes a Labour vs Tory battle ground down south, there will be debates between Milliband and Cameron which will show how unconvincing Ed would be as PM, and whilst many Tories may not like Cameron, they'll reluncantly vote for them over UKIP as it's Wesminister and first past the post. Tories might not win a majority, but they will win the mosts seats at the next General Election.
  18. Woke up today and even clearer now than ever been. We have to keep this going and if it's volunteering for a foodbank, joining a party or even just turning up in May to tactically vote. I thought I'd go back in my box after a No and being disengaged with Scotland and politics more than ever, but I've been inspired by the 45 and the many others on this board who have fought tooth and nail for the Yes campaign. I can't let them down and I'm showing my support for them that I've joined the SNP. A pal of mines has joined the Greens, and an old Labour lad is waiting to see what Labour for Indy do and probably joining them or the SSP he says.
  19. I think so too. 1,200 new Green members, 5,000 SNP members. Use our vote tactically - SNP for Westminister and SSP/SNP/Greens whoever you fancy in Edinburgh, all of the 45% turnout every time Labour will be done.
