  1. Are any of the polls predicting the Tories to have a terrible night? I thought they were looking pretty stable and doing well with list vote.
  2. Also, the one the other day with polling that was over a week old - obviously being held to release at the chosen moment to try and influence public opinion with the chosen narrative.
  3. Latest poll today from SavantaComres has the snp continuing to slide and yes 42 / no 50. They are miles away from the Yougov and Opinium polls from yesterday. Will be interesting to see who got close when the results come in.
  4. Opinium poll was coming from a particularly high water mark but seems closer to yougov and other polls with sampling within the last week. The ones released over the weekend with 1 week old sampling showing snp dip now look out of date. If Greens hit 13% that would be remarkably good. Think this is the only poll that’s placed them that high but I think they’ll do well.
  5. They’ve been quite clear on Indy for me and as you say they are probably the most Democratic Party on offer - so I can’t square that with them changing policy mid-term. Also, Lorna Slater has been quite clear on their Indy position. I think she’s just given a freshness as an alternative to Patrick Harvie. I think it’s worked quite well for them.
  6. Which unionist party is asking their own voters to vote for another party?
  7. You should maybe get more realistic with your expectations.
  8. I know a lot of the headlines but what are the key grumbles from within the industry? I find things like this interesting as all parties (except Tories?) backed this if I remember right. Albeit that it’s the SNP who’s neck is on the line. I agree that there does seem to be a weakness on Justice legislation. There’s also a part of it that people and the media hype up the population about this sort of thing and people don’t like the idea of change from how things have always been. Btw ... I’m not trying to delegitimise that viewpoint.
  9. If it was going to be a full house and I couldn’t get a ticket then I wouldn’t have any qualms about paying through the nose for hospitality. As things are - with a crowd of 20k - I wouldn’t bother. If I get a ticket then great, but I don’t think it’s worth the big money.
  10. Seems like his most recent national camp may have given him a bit of renewed inspiration. Would be nice to think so anyway.
  11. And you came to the TAMB? 😂 Scotland advice is a bit sketchy- not sure if that’s what you’ve already looked at: https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-international-travel-quarantine/pages/what-you-must-do/ England advice includes this line: How to travel to the place where you’re quarantining When you arrive in England, go straight to the place you’re staying to quarantine. Only use public transport if you have no other option. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/how-to-quarantine-when-you-arrive-in-england Edit to add: It all depends what country you are flying from as to whether you have enforced hotel quarantine.
  12. That particular criticism of the Greens is levelled out for me by their commitment to abolishing the monarchy. They need to have a different message from the SNP and the planet / green message is obviously front and centre for them understandably, but they are accepted as pro-Indy so worthy of a vote IMO.
  13. Exactly this. Why are we making the same mistakes again?! UK gov needs to shut the borders and concentrate on getting our society and economy active again. If the India variant explodes here evading vaccine I think it will be the final straw for people - and that really is dangerous territory.
  14. So, this is just a continuation of the rules /offering of this season?
  15. A player that definitely won me over and was solid through the playoffs. McLean to come in for me. Chance maybe for McCrorie to come into the squad.
  16. Since when did club bans impact national teams?
  17. When do you think the ‘most effective time’ would be? Would it be before 6th May election? After the 6th May election? Or during the Indyref2 campaign?
  18. Response from UEFA provides zero clarity of whether existing tickets for Croatia vs Czechs would preclude SSC members from purchasing Wembley tix. *groan* Dear, Thank you for your email. We do not know yet the details of the sales for Scotland PNA. Further information about potential future ticket sales should be available in May 2021, including for fans of Hungary, North Macedonia, Scotland and Slovakia, which qualified through the play-offs in November 2020. Best regards, UEFA Ticketing Customer Service Apr 12, 2021, 11:07 GMT+3 Hi, I have tickets booked for Croatia vs Czech Republic at Hampden Park, Glasgow on Friday 18th June. I obtained these tickets in the UEFA ballot. I also have the possibility of getting 1 ticket for England vs Scotland at Wembley, London on this same date. This would be via the Scotland FA supporters club, of which I am a member. I cannot yet be certain whether I will be allocated a ticket or not. The question I have is whether my pre-existing tickets for this date would restrict me from being able to purchase the England vs Scotland ticket on UEFA due to any T&C’s / restrictions. I would need to know this in order to make a decision on whether to cancel my existing tickets.
  19. I didn’t get quite as many words in my response from SFA but I’ve fired off a contact form to UEFA now anyway.
  20. I emailed the SSC the other day as well and they’ve basically said ‘check with UEFA’. I’m guessing you’ve had the same response.
  21. Not 100% sure but think it was 50% of stadium.
  22. The Sun reporting that Tierney is out for the season most likely. Fingers crossed he can make it for Euros.
  23. His international career has been far too stop-start similar to some of his ups and downs at Celtic. There was a spell when he didn’t get a chance early enough by Strachan when he was at the top of his game and did then come in and do well and proved a threat. Goal away to Slovenia should have had us on way to a play off until we shat the bed. It does look increasingly like his time is over unfortunately. It’s a shame because finishers like him are few and far between.
  24. The only tickets available in May will be facilitated via the SFA. They’ve yet to confirm the process so we’ve not been asked to register for anything yet.
  25. I thought they’d done away with ballots and were now opening up sales windows at the appropriate points level and then working their way down. i.e. 500 tickets left 12 points (513 members) - sales open 12-3pm on Monday. 11 points (624 members) - sales open 12-3pm on Tuesday (if any tickets remain) ...and so on. is that not the way the SFA have been doing it for years now as opposed to ballot?
