  1. I don't want to say on here. Sorry if that upsets anyone. It is more that situation than football that should see him go.
  2. The episode happened in San Marino
  3. Trying to sub players that had been sent off "Deeply troubling episode" Swearing on live TV at half time in cup final thinking we started well against Kazakhstan
  4. McLeish is a big part of the reason the players pulled out. They witnessed his "deeply troubling episode" in San Marino so are unlikely to think he's the man to take the team forward.
  5. Hoping he gets sent packing or put on gardening leave tomorrow. Money talks to the SFA and they know tickets will not shift if he remains in post. Clarke strongly dislikes the SFA and is highly unlikely to take the job if offered. If there's a vacancy then I fully expect Scotland Gemmill to be appointed. #Ecksit
  6. so, not someone who was last capped 15 years ago? 😉
  7. he has coached in the men's game (assistant and caretaker). other examples then are Corinne Diacre, Scott Booth or Shelley Kerr. it works both ways - a success in one code may not enjoy the same levels in the other. and vice versa is also true.
  8. Shelley Kerr has already managed a men's team. And there are other examples of women managing male teams so it wouldn't be as trailblazing as some suggest. there are very big differences in the approach to both forms of the game though so a successful manager in one may not be as successful in the other. Take Phil Neville for one example.

  11. He wasn't sacked in any case. His contract wasn't renewed.
  12. Two weeks on from the Astana humiliation and he's still in charge. Jokeshop. #Ecksit
  13. Is he still hanging on? #Ecksit
  14. a bit of time on my hands and just revisiting the abuse i got from a few on here (Texas Pete and Caledonian Craig especially) when i pointed out that McLeish wasn't fit for purpose.
  15. funnily enough the next home match will be one of the most appealing (date wise) for supporters as it's a Saturday night so no rush for most fans to get back home. unless you work Sundays which is unfortunate. OP - there are only two professional bodies now. SFA and SPFL (merger of SFL and SPL I recall). I think Petrie's appointment as chair gives us one of the best opportunities for change for years. so far as I know he has very few supporters in the press or from football fans, coupled with the fact that he knows very little about football. it could be that we are thanking the SFA succession policy for once.
  16. I'm sure that article lays the blame with the board. And that is the root of the problem. Short term McLeish had to depart. Longer term the board need to GTF.
  17. #Ecksit worked then 😎 http://www.edinburghtartanarmy.com/2019/03/27/ecksit-before-it-is-too-late/

  19. Stadium actually holds 4776 is what I'm led to believe. The 6500 capacity is supposedly when the East and West temporary stands are erected. In any case it's unlikely that the Sammirense will shift 1500 home tickets.
  20. https://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/ can be good. you get some match worn and match issue gear there. There's a John Blackley one there the now for £750 if you're feeling flush.
  21. my understanding is that we have the entire South Stand. Cat 1 tickets in this stand are under cover. Cat 3 tickets in this stand are not. we also have parts of the North Stand. we have Cat 1 and Cat 2 tickets in this one. don't know if they're covered or not or if they are at the ends or in the middle.
  22. Fingerprinting is now a requirement so visa applications have to be done in person. This means that each applicant has to attend the visa centre. UK visa centres are in Edinburgh, London and Manchester. The reason that fingerprints are required is because that is what the UK requires Russian nationals to do for getting in and Russia decided to do likewise.
