  1. The 1230 thing isn't a law on a Sunday anymore. You can buy a carryout at 10am. Pretty sure every spoons serves from 10am but definitely at 11am. Few boozers in Southside open at 10am. Most decent ones open 11 or 12 though.
  2. My burd and my mate got tickets for the Semi Final (Celtic fans) through his work as they had debentures. They still had to pay for them, i guess a lot of them only get taken up for big games.
  3. Aberdeen were never allocated those? Those tickets are debentures. 4. There still was in the 90s/early 00s i'm sure. I'm sure it picked up in Kilmarnock amongst other places.
  5. ha, there's a good few Aberdeen fans from down that way. 80s kids i'd imagine.
  6. One of the Aberdeen supporting mates does. He's currently in NY and back before the final if it's the same person!
  7. Couple of my mates going along as neutrals as we've a mate who's a big Don's fan. Just going to watch the game in Shawlands when they're at the game. Was a bit surprised to be offered tickets for it, thought it would have sold out but hopefully still will.
  8. Aye rub it in. I'm 32, have been to 40+ away games and doubt i'll ever get to attend a major tournament for 2+ weeks watching us.
  9. I lived in Saltcoats for 27 years, my parents still live there, as do most of my mates. I can assure you those reprobates aren't a reflection of the vast majority of it.s residents. Put it this way, i doubt you'll see Bobby Lennox, Steve Clarke or Roy Aitken walking alongside those scumbags. Ironic thing is, the only secondary school in the town is catholic!
  10. I've heard we've been offered O'Connell from Celtic on loan. Also heard likewise about GMS and Christie but i would be surprised at those two.
  11. They've made changes to it since then. I like it. Never any hassle and they have a good selection on tap and inthe fridges.
  12. When was the last time you were in out of interest? I only moved to Shawlands 2 years ago and it's a nice pub. Been done up recently again too. Choice of largers/ales is best in the area too.
  13. How about the poor service from the SSC?
  14. That's almost exactly the same as my crowd that i've traveled with for almost 15 years. If we lose i try my hardest to get away from a pub full of Scotland fans, some of these folk sing non stop in pubs and couldn't tell you what support was whilst in the stadium. I find myself trying to avoid large gathering of Scotland fans on trips, much rather mingle with the locals. Now of the view what's the point? Team are p1sh, support full of roasters more interested in dressing up/flashing/delete where applicable. Folk keep saying it's the big game that attract these folk, i disagree. I think some of the worst offenders are the self titled elite. At least when you to club football you are sitting/standing with guys who have a clue about football. More and more you find yourslef surrounded by folk at Scotland games that don't even seem interested about the main reason they are meant to be there for.
