  1. That sounds a little on the OTT side. Granted Celtic haven’t strengthened but there’s no guarantee this hun team is any better. It’s far too early to say whether their signings are any good. It’s Gerard’s honeymoon period right now and favourable draw in the Europa has their confidence soaring. If Celtic win on Sunday, they are four points ahead when barely a ball is kicked.
  2. 7 times 3 for football, 2 for boxing (soon to be a 3rd) and once for concert
  3. Aberdeen and Fraserburgh Often a range of teams depending whether their result affects the above league position.
  4. Kenny Miller, Steven Naismith and Stephen McManus all on sportsound last night wanted the idea of lesser qualifiers at these grounds 😂
  5. If I was forced to make a decision, it would be a refurbished hampden with steeper stands closer to the pitch. One stadium I wouldn't use as a model is wembley, its pish for fitba. Great for boxing events and concerts but its a crap fitba stadium. If the choice is hampden in its current state or Murrayfield, I would chose Murrayfield just because I prefer where murrayfield is and the set up in terms of fan zone is great. It was the hot topic on sportsound, each of the panel wanted to stay at hampden which is no real surprise. They made some good points about the scheduling being a problem for atmosphere. Saturday afternoon games are often rocking at hampden regardless of opposition. Lithuania was used as an example, I remember a saturday afternoon match against Lithuania, we won 2-0, I'm sure Darren Fletcher scored but play Lithuania on a tuesday night and its shite. I've heard a ffew people mention tynecastle, easter road and pittodrie for these lesser qualifiers, is that even possible? Would these grounds cover the amount of supporters club members who are guaranteed a ticket or have a season ticket. this option doesn't seem feasible to me.
  6. I used to think he was just an ignorant celtic fan who was negative about every club except celtic but he's even negative about them nowadays😂
  7. are you suggestion its his club who's pressuring him to not play for Scotland? Apologies, I'm not sure what your point is here.
  8. If Mctominey had yet to pick between us and england thats fair enough in my book, he will have had mixed emotions about it, living down here with a few anglo jocks, I can completely understand that now. I wouldn't ban anyone immediately, but their commitment should be questioned publicly, brenda rodgers wasn't exaclty slow in going public with his opinion when the friendlies were announced, eck and the SFA should have responded, instead they backed down and gave some players a break, this allows some to think they can pick and chose. If we had a strong governing body and manager they would have said publicly there are no exceptions, this would have weeded those who are not committed to the cause. before the resident tims go ape shit or start holding a candle lit vigil, I only used rodgers as an example, my opinion is the same for any player who makes themselves unavlaible
  9. its not a case of whether we would do it or not, Mcarthur clearly isn't committed enough to Scotland, he see's it as something he can let go if he wants. What were McTomineys reasons for asking not be considered? Was this before or after he committed to Scotland?
  10. I can't remember much people saying that unless they were talking about themselves, I know people who don't support a club side anymore but they follow scotland. Perhaps they were talking about a personal preference rather what they think a players attitude should be. I know there are players who don't see it as the fans do, these are the players we don't need, do you really believe Mcarthur has been advised to miss scotland matches by a medical professional, my guess is not. It is black and white, if you are even thinking about missing a scotland game, you are not fully committed. It shouldn't even cross there mind to miss a game unless they have genuine injury concerns. If Mcarthur did have genuine medical reasons for missing these matches, he would be taking time off from Crystal Palace too. He still gets paid by palace if he takes time off to heal. I don't expect a player to put Scotland before their employers but I do expect a level of commitment on a par with what the give to their club. If we have players willing to do that, we would have a starting chance at qualifying
  11. I stopped reading at the bold part, I never came close to saying that and I don't think I have ever read that on the tamb
  12. It wouldn't happen that often but I still can't see the SFA, SPFL or Police Scotland being happy with an OF match outside Glasgow
  13. Tierney left back, Robertson left mid, Ryan Fraser right wing...............means no James Forrest. Get it done Eck😂😂😂😂😂😂
  14. Do you ever get bored of talking shite? Glasgow’s crime rate has dropped dramatically over the last 18 years. A quick search online shows there’s higher crime rates in others cities in England and much more in Europe
  15. Fleetwood are managed by a mutant who has a high opinion of himself. They’re a league one side, they should be looking at a match against an epl side as an opportunity and a chance to test themselves.
  16. I have no problem with it being Murrayfield, I don’t believe that will happen but I’d have no issue with it. Hampden definitely needs some improvements, if that happens, happy days. One of the big problems discussed on sportsound last night was policing a high profile match in Edinburgh. The main focus was a potential OF match at murrayfield. I’ve no idea if that would work or not. What would happen to hampden if for some bizarre reason the SFA did move to Murrayfield?
  17. He’s played in epl matches too. Fraser is highly rated at Bournemouth.
  18. Was all really forgiven with Brown, Boyd and Fletcher? I’m not sure it was. Players shouldn’t be allowed to pick and choose when they want to be considered for Scotland, you’re in our out. It gives the impression that Scotland doesn’t matter as much and can have an effect on the squad mentality. Any manager with balls would end it now but Mcliesh is already showing he’s lacking in testicles. He’s set his stall out to allow players to take the piss. good luck with that Eck ☹️ Ive long suspected that a few of our players aren’t really that committed to the cause, no proof of course. Hopefully this new generation see it Differently.
  19. I know the difference between your and you're, it was a typing error.
  20. he can't play three games for Scotland but he can play multiple games for palace sounds like he is not full committed to Scotland, personally I want players who are willing to give everything to Scotland to get us to a finals.
  21. 😂😂😂😂 I used to be the same but it got old, I’ve got almost all of them on ignore now, I only see what others quote.
  22. Is he saying he can play for palce but not Scotland? That’s what I take from it.
  23. It’s an open forum, if you can’t handle criticism or questioning of your beloved Celtic, I suggest you find another place to spout your boring drivel. Night night ramy
