That’s exactly how I see things. Some but not all rangers fans are absolutely desperate for this to be because jack is a rangers player. I have no idea how accurate some of this is but before the police were centralised to glasgow, certain Aberdeen matches required no police presence. Stewards only and to be honest that's all you would need for a game against Ross County. Higher profile matches required police. As soon as the police moved to Glasgow there were mounted police back at every game, a total waste of money

There's been some good atmospheres in other matches, I remember Lithuania, Ukraine, Spain andNetherlands . I am sure there's many more IMO scheduling coupled with us being shite has had the biggest effect on the atmosphere. If we are in the mix there's a better atmosphere, if there's passion and drive on the park, there's a better atmosphere and finally Saturday matches are better for atmosphere. Thursday nights, Sunday evenings are no good. From my own personal point of view and most in my group of match attending fans, we have to pick and choose our matches. Due to travel I'd have to take today off to go to the match and the same goes for last Friday. I'm not willing to do that when I have young kid at home a very busy job. If its a saturday I can go up on Saturday morning and either stay the night or come home same day without missing work. Albani and Israel couldn't be at pittodrie because the capacity is not enough. If the supporters club is full which it has been, the demand could exceed the capacity at Tynecatsle, Easter Road or Pittodrie

Why Do some on here refer to the standard of the women’s game? whats the standard got to do with anything? Some standard of Mens football is pish too so I don’t really get this point. It’s not as if the women are trying to compare themselves to the men. I sometimes walk over to the local park and wtach the pub league, it’s fitba and can be entertaining. A game of fitba doesn’t need 22 highly paid men to be good. Any level can be good. one of the best games I’ve ever seen was a highland league match. the women’s game has its own market and good on them I say.

Agree with this. I would rather we had a younger option but we don't right now. McGregor despite his silly kicks and elbows has started very well and deserves to start on Monday. The fans and the players will be more confident with him between the sticks.
