  1. you are correct but, as long as it annoys the rangers fans so much no need to end the argument
  2. basically he says he is sorry of the rangers fans are annoyed and thanks them for their money on Saturday; and then goes on to thank the guys who write the programme. Great comeback from the chairman
  3. can't stand the man, he is everything I hate about upper-middle class brits. Casually racist, dismissive of everything that doesn't fit with his views.
  4. Sad post. There may well be some of these flags in the rangers end and there may well be GSTQ sung but if you can let us know the last time Hearts fans sung that song I would be grateful. Otherwise can we keep this thread on topic; this isn't Kerrydale street
  5. I suspect your opinion of Gordon has more to do with what team he plays for now. Not sure what McFadden and Fletcher have to do with this thread
  6. For the next game at Ibrox we will get 2% of the capacity. The Rangers are being given about 8% of the Tynecastle capacity
  7. if you don't think that Craig Gordon was one of the best keepers in the World, never mind Europe then I suggest you know nothing about football IMO. It is surely not that daft a suggestion to say that he could get back to, or near to, his best if he plays regularly.
  8. if everyone who is complaining about too much football on tv cancelled their Sky/BT sports subscriptions the problem would be solved
  9. said it over and over again, and to be fair so have a few rangers posters on here. They had the chance to start again, build a team of good quality youngsters from their multi-million pound academy at Murray park, augmented with a few experienced heads. Instead they now have old crocs like Miller and Boyd (how many goals has he scored this season?) and a totally useless manager in McCoist. Long may it last
  10. mon the hibs - although I can't see this being anything other than a comfortable home win for the rangers. Doesn't matter anyway, if we keep playing like we did yesterday we can happily leave the others to fight over the scraps of a play-off place
  11. Good point. It gives them a playground to test all their weapons and ensures Israel can carry on doing what it wants with the knowledge that no Middle-East state will be allowed to become stable
  12. What a total mess the West have made of this region. We arm Iraq to fight the Iranians, then we fight Iraq. We arm the rebels in Syria to fight the Syrian government, then we fight the rebels. The only people who profit are the arms manufacturers and Israel
  13. put a fiver on Hearts but it is almost impossible to predict league cup matches as you never know what sort of team will play. Dundee United 2 v Dundee 0 Falkirk 2 v Rangers 0 Ross County 1 v Hibernian 0 Kilmarnock 2 v St Johnstone 0 Aberdeen 3 v Livingston 0 Partick Thistle 1 v St Mirren 1 - St Mirren on penalties Celtic 0 v Heart of Midlothian 2 Hamilton Academical 0 v Motherwell 1
  14. I'll not be singing it, the words would be embarrassing. I know most of those in the crowd will have voted yes but the 'country' voted no and, until that changes, we need a new anthem
  15. had been meaning to join for years but finally got round to it today
  16. closing my RBS account and moving everything to Santander. Rather be part of a Spanish bank than RBS
  17. It's been kicked out twice as the judge said that there was no credible threat that rangers would be unable to pay the £650,00 if Ahmed won. By rangers own words they are bust if the share issue fails so I can't see how a judge could possibly argue against Ahmed this time. And I am aware the rights were sold 2 years ago but this is now yet another revenue stream that is closed. The SRU sold the naming rights to Murrayfield for £20 million, rangers sold their for 100 pennies
  18. Ahmed back in to freeze the £650,000 and Ibrox naming rights sold for £1 - surely admin2/liquidation2 must be just round the corner now
  19. Might actually buy the Record tomorrow for the first time in years - on that note would be interesting to hear the circulation figures for today versus tomorrow
  20. The Sun will come out for YES if it thinks YES will win, the same as it does for every election. I hate the sun but, if it helps to sway a few no's or undecideds to switch to YES than I can live with it
  21. Aye sorry, it was a rhetorical question really, more aimed at Eddard's daft question
  22. Why would they not be? There are thousands of non-uk armed forces personnel in the 'british' army
  23. that first half display from Hearts was the best I have seen since the Burley days. The one-touch stuff was great and we could have scored 6 or 7 easily in that half
  24. about 17,400. We lose about 300 seats for segregation and Falkirk have 1,400 tickets available
