Bristolhibby
Off on my holidays soon, going with the family to the Il de Re. Anyone been? Any tips? We are taking the bikes as it is perfect for cycling. J
fringo
My brother went there last year with his wife and 3 girls (aged 10 to 16) and loved it. I think he said it was a bit more expensive but really nice. I think they did some cycling too. Probably worth a trip to La Rochelle too. jerseybairn
We went at Easter for three days, a couple of years ago. Went self catering. Cycling is great, picturesque villages and great for little bistros, bars etc As someone mentioned, La Rochelle is worth a visit as well.
