Lion Rampant
But Charlie Endell is right - the lack of train stations quite near to Parkhead and lack of buses going along the Gallowgate after the game was a downside. Dalmarnock's a ten minute walk down a straight road. Bellgrove station is a 10/15 minute walk too and it was no hassle getting a train from there. We left the JS upper after applauding the guys off the park, walk to the station then straight onto the platform, straight onto a train and 5-10 mins later was at Charing Cross. Was easily one of the easiest journey away from a Scotland game I've had.
girvanTA
A few folk left early to catch the half ten train from glasgow to stranraer line. unfortunately thats the last train if heading to maybole girvan, barrhill and stranraer. Gman1990
Any issues parking in the retail park at the Forge? We parked at the Forge and was surprised at how straightforward and quiet it was. Got a space around 7pm no bother after coming down Tollcross road. Went to Mcdonald's for half an hour after the game to let the crowds calm down and got right back along Tollcross road without any stops and straight back onto the Motorway for about 10.30. Bring back Saturday 3PM games when there's no seats left by the time the train gets to Barrhill.
