Anyone bite the bullet and pay over the odds? Also, anyone coming from Canada? - Euro 2024 - Tartan Army Message Board Jump to content

I'm based in Montreal these days and my mate over in Calgary. Both actually scottish and none of this "ah i saw braveheart once so I'm Scotch" patter.

Both former footsoldiers that followed Scotland about Europe in dark years of 2000-2013/14.

We are flying out to Montreal to Munich then flying back from Stuttgart. Both of us decided to go on a Stubhub and buy over the odds tickets (pure shambles btw) as we are making such an effort to come from Canada it's a bit pointless to worry about the next draw or scalpers on the day. I've used stubhub before for tickets and they are good at replacing tickets for events if the person is a con man. I think it's more likely we'll get a refund as I doubt they will be able to replace Germany opener tickets at an event like this.

Anyone else flying from Canada? We're probably doing a Canada Tartan army flag.

All booked for hotels, flights and supposedly tickets.

Stubhub are good - don’t imagine you’ll have an issue. I never have had any problems when using them for matches abroad.

If I was in your position I’d do the exact same. You only live once.

I’ll look out for the flag.

I used stubhub at Euro 2020. Absolutely no dramas, tickets landed in my account very quickly.

Flying into Munich from Los Angeles and bought our tickets on Stubhub as well. Hopefully there will be nae bother. My worry is the tickets are electronically delivered to yir phone and you need to go through and set something up before hand to get the tickets that you then download....FFS..... Thats fine if yir under 40, but a dinosaur like me, it will squeeky bum time until we're in the stadium. Much prefer to have the ticket in hand and not worry about anything else going wrong.

Used Stubhub in the past without any problems.

yup 4 of us flying from toronto. Also experienced dark days of 2000s. until moved over here in 2010.

Paid and received 2 tickets for 2nd and 3rd games from stubhub. 280 and 300. But figured still not as much as it would cost to accommodate all the points for get fan first tickets

From the US, but flying from Toronto.

I paid a ton over face on StubHub. I have have my tickets in my UEFA app - plus 5 extra.

I've used stubhub in the past and never had a problem....except for the prices.

But my dad is 73 and we're looking at this as a 'last in his lifetime' experience. So hoping to see some brilliance from the team.
