England have not had an official song since 2004 after they stopped doing it when the "unofficial" songs would chart much higher and get more radio play than the official song got.... only major one I can think of in recent years was Wales 2016 song that was done with the Manic Street Preachers (as I am a Manics fan, that probably grabbed my attention more than it should have). Euro 2020, The LaFontaines song was considered the "official song", simply because David Marshall appeared in the video for it. Hopefully the SFA do endorse/commission an official one, as I think someone like Franz Ferdinand or Travis could do a good one, but no doubt they will probably get Gerry Cinnamon or Lewis Capaldi Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
