DavyP
Go for a train a couple of hours after your arrival....if you are late you have a cushion...if you are early hit the bar....it's what I do

deecie
I just checked, you should be able to get it for about €70 each. Also FYI: If you book it about 2 months ago, it should be €19 each way each. The €19 fares are still available but you'll have to travel at pretty awful times (5.40am or 8.40pm (for €29)). BrianR1964
I arrive in schiphol on the Saturday 6am flight out Of Glasgow. A couple of weeks ago I booked the 14.36 ICE train from the Dam to Dusseldorf. Cost 50 euros first class. Prior to that it was 28 Euros For standard fare but that suddenly disappeared and first class Was cheaper. Thought that price was ok. Includes Lounge access which means can get a couple of Free shots before journey. I'm sure I can find something To kill a few hours in Amsterdam before train !
