killiefaetheferry
Would normally avoid driving through to Glasgow on a Friday teatime but I'm taking my wee boy to his first Scotland game. Avoiding the supporter's bus experience for him for now! Would usually go in via the M80 and over the Kingston Bridge to park up at Shawlands... but Friday around 5-6pm ? Any better turning off at Mollinsburn M73/74 and trying to park up around Toryglen? Google also suggesting a route via Edinburgh and the M8 that I hadn't considered. killiefaetheferry
Should be leaving Dundee about 4pm.
sbcmfc
Don’t go via Edinburgh. Do take M74. Only potential hold up’s will be Broxden roundabout and castlecary. Even allowing for that you’ll be there and parked up in 2 hours from Dundee. If you park in Toryglen, go home through Rutherglen Main Street, go left at end of Main Street, down to crossroads, turn right and join the M74 one junction further up. 👍🏻

Avoid the Kingsway, the traffic is shocking Friday at that time go along Riverside then cut through invergowrie then on to the dual carriageway saves you a lot of time
killiefaetheferry
Getting picked up at my work in the West End so probably coming down at the Botanic Gardens at Perth Rd. Invergowrie short cut a good shout and thanks for the M74 Toryglen shout. We’re in the East so thinking best to park that way. Any general areas to think of? Always used to get parked around Shawlands before as it’s what I was used to heading up from Stewarton with my Dad.
