joe545
have you listened to what he is saying? Yes, he obviously doesn't want chemo. He has no doubt harassed the doctors about chemo whenever they have mentioned it and he has done his own internet research and thinks it's equivalent to their education. He says himself on the video that they suggested a treament that would involve "a little chemo" and when he quizzed them about why that was needed, he didn't understand the answer! Yet he still doesn't want it.
Rossy
As parents, they have a right to seek the best treatment they deem possible for their son. I'm astonished that they've been hunted down in Spain, and arrested. The police couldn't put a stop to thousands of kids being abused in Rotherham, but they've made damn sure that adequate resources have been allocated to track down 2 parents to the south of Spain. Ridiculous.

Ridiculous. correct. Also the doctor actively stopped that process by not releasing the MRI and other information to other people. and threatening to have an emergency protection order. My mate was told he was going to die by the NHS because of "an in-operable tumour" went to america and got it removed and was back on his feet 4 days later, if they had listened to the oncologists he would have been dead. This time at least the NHS did release all the information to the american university hospital so the operation was a success.

No, it was something like they said they were taking him out to go the park and then after 6 hours the raised the alarm when they didn't return
Rossy
No, it was something like they said they were taking him out to go the park and then after 6 hours the raised the alarm when they didn't return The hospital did the correct thing by calling the police. However, once the police realised he was with his parents that should have been and end to it. Instead, you have front page newspaper headlines, the lead story on the TV news, and the parents being treated as criminals. ridiculous. JPM
It's a tough one without knowing all the circumstances of the case, which would essentially mean being a medical practitioner on site at the hospital. But if a child's life is at stake due to the bad decisions of its parents, then society has a right to try and save the life of that child. Too many parents see their kids simply as an extension of their own self. Btw phart - how much did your mate's operation cost in the States?
