Happy days. On the way to the airport, we get in around 5pm local time. Interesting about the heat late at night, going to be some shift for the players.

Mine arrived today. Only problem…I didn’t order enough somehow! 3 of us going and I’ve somehow only ordered 2. If anyone has a spare going give me a shout. Appreciate the passport number thing may cause an issue but I’ll take my chances.

Not planning on spending the euros, seemingly plenty places to change them to local currency as and when needed. Not certain but I read somewhere that the ATM network can be patchy, even in Chisinau

I'm getting euros to change over there. They're not keen on GBP and like you say, can't change any extra Moldovan currency back when we return

8 of us without tickets. Emailed the hotel this morning to see if they can sort home end tickets for us.

Where are people seeing it's sold out? I reckon it'll be simple enough to blag our way into the home end. If you can get a pint for 90p I'd imagine a ticket could be sourced for 20 quid.

Jeez that's cheap, good effort! We're thinking bus there and back but will have a look at flight from lasi. How did you book the bus? Will need to meet for a pint to say thanks for your help!

it was only through reading your message that found out the train's potentially not running so I've not looked at alternatives tbh. Bus sounds less glamorous that £8 bottles of champagne on the train but I'll take it if it gets us there. That Bucharest to Chisinau aye?

We're in the same position. 8 of us fly into Bucharest on the 8th and had planned to get the train on the 10th. Update seems positive but would still be keen to start looking at alternatives. What's your plan at the minute? Cheers, Robbie
