  1. Add to that the inclusion of McKenna and Naismith after long term injuries, the Tierney thing stinks...
  2. It's because he doesn't want to be a right fitter
  3. Winning a treble treble in our pish poor, lop-sided league means the square root of fuck all, in fitba terms really
  4. I may be slightly harsh on Jack (though I don't see him displacing any of our midfield) but the tims in our squad are perennial shitey bags
  5. ... And here lies the problem that my son and I were debating last night, when he asked me what my Scotland team would look like. Not a Rangers or Celtic player in sight as far as I'm concerned... They love being the flat track bullies in our piss poor league, skelping teams with a fraction of the resources, but put them into the national side, or lo and behold, ask them to move to a competitive league and they fold like deckchairs. I'd consider Jack as an option at right back, but in no way would he get anywhere near a starting Jersey in midfield for me, as that's our strongest position with 4 or 5 options coming from the EPL.
  6. Turnbull will be back around January time I believe, if he can re-capture the form he had prior to his injury then he'd be a great choice for Scotland. Hornby v McBurnie? I take your point, but we'll see what the next year brings
  7. In a years time I'd like to see us play a team of; Liam Kelly Soutar McKenna Tierney McTominay Fraser Gilmour. McGinn Robertson Turnbull McBurnie Looks like a very decent starting 11 to me...if Liam Kelly can push on at QPR, if McKenna and Soutar get back to form after injury, if Tierney can push his way into the Arsenal side, if Turnbull can get over his injury.
  8. Got to agree with the dark Knight fanny I'm afraid mate, winning trophies for celtic in Scotland is borderline meaningless
  9. It's what our other strikers have done in Griffiths absence that is the problem
  10. McGinn doesn't play, we have other guys that can come in... ... Griffiths doesn't play and we have no one of his type available. That's the difference
  11. How did Barry Hepburn look? Heard lots of good things about him and only 15
  12. If it was that simple though, why wouldn't an English Premier League team not just buy Shankland for 500,00k rather than burst a huge amount of money on a guy that's not as good? The mind boggles with some of the stuff on here đŸ˜‚
  13. 'the slagging of Scotland' was clearly a bit of banter, no matter how pish that banter was. He's had a handful of Scotland appearances, where he's had zero service. He's playing at a level that Shankland will very likely never, ever get to.
  14. The same folk that want us calling up a player that scores goals against Morton, don't want us calling up a 20million striker who scored 24 goals last season... Absolute maniacs
  15. Celtic being upset about losing a player? Cannae beat it, horrible lot that they are
  16. Charlie Mulgrew left his own wean unattended for the sake of a Costco cake... We still call that numpty up
  17. Denying the guy the opportunity to represent his country on the international scene is definitely curtailing his career
  18. People make mistakes from time to time, and deservedly get punished... to then actively curtail their career would be wrong though
  19. It's much harder to be a good defender, when you're under the cosh for 90minutes, and you've got Charlie Mulgrew beside you, rather than VVD. Robbo is a top class left back, but playing for Scotland must dae his tits in
  20. McAllister was an excellent player for Scotland
  21. He hasn't even started a League game for Arsenal, that's why
