  1. Ross Stewart linked with Southampton
  2. Both finished 4th in their respective divisions last season so potentially good move for Mebude if there's a pathway there and decent chance of game time
  3. Darren Fletcher’s sons going to Man Utd from Man City in a UK record deal for U16 players. Tyler currently plays for Scotland and Jack for England but both have played for Scotland previously
  4. Mitrovic could be on his way to Saudi, he's already asked the club to let him go and told relatives he won't play for Fulham again
  5. Shows how high profile a game this is with the low number of senior players in the Man Utd squad. Still can't believe they have the audacity to charge £40 TRAVELLING SQUAD FOR EDINBURGH Goalkeepers: Nathan Bishop, Elyh Harrison, Matej Kovar. Defenders: Jonny Evans, Alvaro Fernandez, Will Fish, Marc Jurado, Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Brandon Williams. Midfielders: Fred, Dan Gore, Hannibal, Isak Hansen-Aaroen, Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount, Donny van de Beek. Forwards: Amad, Antony, Noam Emeran, Omari Forson, Joe Hugill, Jadon Sancho.
  6. an 11 min hat-trick for Tommy Conway for Bristol City in a friendly against Swindon. Will be interesting to see how he gets on this season. If he keeps scoring like he did last year then he'll be vying with Shankland, Nisbet, Stewart & Brown for that last striker spot in the squad
  7. Michael Rose has signed for Stoke on a free
  8. Lewis Ferguson signs an extension at Bologna until 2027
  9. Palace & Fulham the two names I’ve seen linked. I think he’s shown he’s definitely good enough for a mid table EPL side, just wish his finishing could be a bit more clinical at times. If he took every chance like he did his goal against Denmark he’d be playing for a top half team easy
  10. Stuart Findlay back at Killie on loan. When he was capped I thought he was going to kick on but that spell in MLS seems to have sent him backwards
  11. Cooper playing at the Ullevaal again today as Leeds are playing a friendly against Man Utd in Oslo. Scotland U21 Jeremiah Mullen starts with him in defence. No sign of McTominay for Man Utd, he's playing golf at the Scottish Open Pro-Am
  12. Is it just me or have the trains gone up a lot in the space of a week? I swear when I checked before it was only about 20-25 euros each way whereas now its 40-65.
  13. Hibs have enquired with Man City about getting Fiorini on loan but Swansea & Bristol City also interested
  14. Flying from Manchester to/from Madrid and getting the train between Madrid & Seville
  15. Nice to see Ferguson linked with bigger clubs in Serie A though I'd like to see him stay for at least another year of being first pick at Bologna. Will be interesting to see where Holsgrove ends up. By all accounts had a good season in a struggling side and seems to go under the radar a bit. Still only 23
  16. Villa paying £300k plus add ons for Borland who's only 15. Crazy how much EPL sides can spend on kids
  17. Some reports saying Fraser will go as part of the deal. England seem to have a lot of young right backs coming through and I have a feeling Livramento will end up playing for Portugal
  18. I'd say Turnbull has a lot of potential and is still only 23. Just needs to find somewhere better than Celtic's bench for his development
  19. Really hope Welsh leaves. Seems to have something about him but can't see him progressing at Celtic even with Rodgers taking over.
  20. From the BBC Sport site: Redeveloping or reconfiguring Hampden Park is "not going to happen" in the current economic climate, Scottish FA chief executive Ian Maxwell has said. Hampden Park is one of the venues included in a joint UK and Ireland bid to host the Euro 2028 finals. And Maxwell is confident of success when governing body Uefa chooses between that and Turkey in October. But he says "it's about doing what we can with what we've got" when it comes to patching up the current Hampden.
  21. Granted I didn't watch the Italy game but I didn't think Spain looked like much against Croatia and with some better finishing Croatia would have won. I think that win has papered over the cracks a bit for them. They're still a very good side don't get me wrong but we've faced tougher top seeds in recent years I believe
  22. They finished 2nd behind Serbia in their Nations League group so dependent on Serbia qualifying I guess? (Who are currently 2nd in their group on goal difference)
  23. Everyone seems to be taking it as given that we'll lose in Spain. With the way we've played so far and given that this Spain side isn't one of their best, I can see us getting a point there and to be honest with the mentality of our team right now maybe even a win. It'll be tough sure but not impossible
  24. With that system though, we've seen in the past against 'lesser' teams that both Robertson and Tierney will bomb forward so essentially you've only got 3 at the back. I'm glad we have the 4-2-3-1 Plan B now though as I think we lacked that a bit earlier on when Clarke took over. I'd have no qualms starting with the 3/5 and then later in the game if we're still trying to break though switch it to a 4. I'm a big fan of calum mcgregor though i'd be tempted to start with gilmour for tomorrow night just because he offered a bit more going forward
