  1. Think he had some injury problems but some hearts fans were sad to see him go. Fair play to him he’s gone abroad and done well and earned himself a move to West Ham. Will be interesting to see if he gets a chance there next season
  2. That’ll be a boost for Johnston’s title hopes at Sturm Graz too
  3. It doesn't provide a breakdown just your total
  4. Anytime I've watched him for the U21s he tends to play on the left or right of a forward three. Not really a striker, not really a winger, just an inside forward. Looking at transfermarkt.com he's played the majority of his Northampton games this season on the right
  5. Bizarrely doesn't even seem to be injured at the moment, just can't get in Bolton's squad
  6. King I think needs a move away from Rangers, maybe a loan. He's looked good in the last few U21s games for Scotland (including some games in holding midfield) but really needs game time. Mullen picked up a back injury at the end of Feb which was reportedly going to keep him out for 'months'. Morrison has been in and out of a Wigan side where Maloney seems to like rotating a bit. He signed a new contract at Bayern last summer so will be interesting to see if they loan him to a Championship team, somewhere abroad or keep him in their youth team next season. Bowat has played regularly in the Austrian league for Hartberg who are currently 5th. Can't say I've seen him play for them for he's impressed me for U21s (when playing CB that is, Gemmill tried him at LB too and he looked very uncomfortable). Smith is the youngest of the bunch. Very highly rated by Villa coaches but has mostly been sat on the bench during his loan spell at St Johnstone.
  7. It was Conway, King and Fiorini who trained with the senior squad. It’s a shame of those three that Conway is the only one to go on and have a decent season minutes/performance wise. Very early to consider someone like Jackson when there’s King, Bowat, Morrison, Mullen and Kerr Smith ahead of him in the age groups
  8. I asked a Coventry fan page how he was getting on and they said he'd been unlucky not to play more and they were hoping he'll sign permanently. Fingers crossed he's getting regular first team next season as the likes of Hanley & Cooper will surely retire from international duty soon.
  9. I think in the past year, the games where Gilmour hasn’t played or when he’s been taken off we’ve looked a much worse side
  10. Ross McCrorie seems to be Bristol City's first choice RB and playing regularly. In with a shout if Hickey and Patterson are injured? Clarke has called him up to squads before and he's getting more minutes than Ralston
  11. Would like to see King and Conway get a chance

    U21s

I think Mebude has suffered from barely playing in the first half of the season and has just had a handful of sub appearances at Bristol City. Thought playing in a 3 seemed to really suit King and allowed him to bring the ball out from the back. A good performance from our attacking players and that was with no Doak or Lowry
  13. No big miss for me. The squad is already packed with CBs and I'd have Hanley beneath the rest and maybe on par with Cooper. Hickey would be a massive blow though. I like Patterson but Hickey is a level above
  14. Too many fans of teams near the top of the EPL seem to think the only 2 types of midfielders are holding players or Kevin De Bruyne types who play defence splitting passes all game and they totally disregard McTominay's physical attributes or knack of arriving into the box at the right time.
  15. This and the Scots in Italy video have both been really well made and good watches.
  16. Atlantic Cup is a friendly competition so last night was McKenna’s competitive debut
  17. I think when everyone has been fit Clarke has tended to opt for Adams over Dykes anyway, it’s just that Adams had a lot of knocks throughout the last campaign. As said above, I don’t think Dykes played that well for us overall. He started very good off the bench against Cyprus and played well against Spain at home but after that he was pretty poor. Even in Oslo he was poor for 90% of that game but fortunately got the goal and assist when it mattered.
  18. Sky reporting it as a loan deal for McKenna. Suppose it means he can go get minutes whilst keeping his options open for the summer when his contract is up
  19. I think they have a split after March and the top teams play each other for the title.
  20. I think Gallagher is probably too similar to Dykes and could only see him considered if Dykes was injured and even then, I couldn't see him picked ahead of Adams, Shankland, Brown or Conway
  21. I’ve just accepted Hendry might be a David Healy type player: non descript club career but performs at international level. Hanley gives me the fear when he plays for Scotland, mostly for how much he uses his arms defending. Always seems to have hold of a shirt or arms around a player which in the age of VAR is very dangerous. That said, there’s not many better than him. Porteous has probably been our stand out. Souttar is good but struggles to stay fit. Cooper barely plays anymore. McKenna needs a move and has understandably looked rusty for us. Hyam has struggled to kick on from his call up last summer.
  22. The few times I've watched McBurnie this season for Sheffield Utd he's been honking. A lump of wood who seems more interested in jumping into players than actually winning the ball. Would much rather call up Conway or give Hardie a chance.
  23. Sassuolo agree £5.1million fee for Doig
