Kolasinac has struggled when they've played 4 at the back as he's not the best defender. I could see Tierney fitting in well there if he played LB in the 4 or the left sided of the 3 when they play that system. Personally I thought one of Tierney's best games for Scotland was when he played as the left of 3 centre backs against England at Hampden. Whilst Robbo has said he doesn't feel comfortable as a wing back, Tierney seems to be a lot more adaptable and versatile. Ironically, Chripper has compared Robbo to Alaba in the past but I'd say Tierney is probably the more accurate comparison to him.

Really hoped he'd have been brought on earlier when Matic looked likely to get a 2nd yellow but instead has to come on for a cameo.

I've always loved Brown's commitment but never really rated him as a footballer. Too many games he's chased shadows and gone flying into challenges he'll never win and everyone praising him for it.

Checked the past few Alloa games and he just seems to be coming off the bench everytime. Always hard for a striker to build form when they're getting bit parts but hopefully it helps develop him physically and mentally for the senior game.

I watched the first half and a lot of Celtic's passes seemed to be going astray. I think I saw one time where Sinclair tried to play Burke through but he'd overhit it so the keeper got their first. I think he has the raw attributes to make a decent striker in a counter attacking team where he can just try beat defenders for pace then either have a shot or lay it off to a winger/midfielder running with him

Gerrard has said Dapo Mebude may make an appearance from the bench for Rangers this weekend. He's called him back from Scotland U19 duty because of Morelos' suspension and injuries to Defoe & Lafferty. Would be good to see the lad get more first teams chances in the same way Johnston is at Celtic

I'm a bit concerned that Armstrong hasn't been playing as much under the new Southampton manager. He definitely looked like one of the better players in a struggling side.
