  1. Why? Personally I would rather him go to Germany, Spain or Italy, but if he does move to a Scottish club then I hope it's Celtic. It's undeniable that Rodgers has improved his Scottish players.
  2. In retrospect, I shouldn't really be surprised by a religious person being hypocritical. Anyway. Back to topic. I'm loving that Aberdeen seem to have picked up some steam, hopefully they can keep it up for the rest of the season and finish top (I'm a dreamer), just gutted that Kilmarnock slipped up. Good luck to St Johnstone later today. Rangers away form has been spotty, so hopefully it continues.
  3. Seconded, the other ugly sister, too. I don't like hypocrites, though. How can you be about "Loving all people" and yet use inflammatory words? (Not you)
  4. Mmmm… so you're a deeply religious person and yet you use the word a derogatory word such as "hun"? Is this one these sins that Jesus died for? I'm not religious, but I wouldn't dream about using such a word. Let this be a lesson to you, live life by your own morals, not one set out in a book. (Especially since said book in all murder and incest) "In 2008, a Celtic fan was convicted of a religiously-aggravated breach of the peace for wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with "dirty horrible huns" on the back."
  5. Michael Johnston is a winger, but he grabbed two goals when he started as a striker on Saturday. Look at England, I'd trust James Milner to play literally anywhere on the park (apart from in goals). People are too obsessed with labels. Footballers aren't chess players, they are professional athletes. On topic: Johnston and Ralston were absolute stand-outs for Celtic. It might be a wee bit early to say this, but both of these kids could be called up next year.
  6. Where exactly do you think I would play him for Scotland? I would play him in a striking position or in midfield, either way, I'd give him licence to roam. I wouldn't say that Ryan Fraser plays left mid, the same as I wouldn't say that Forrest plays right mid. Both players have licence to roam. If you want to get the best out of those two we have to give them creative freedom, which McLeish did in the previous two matches, and it worked quiet well. How about Shinnie? He's as good at left back as he is in midfield. McTominay played at youth level as a striker, he's also played in the middle of defence. McGregor was pretty much an attacking midfielder with Notts County (and up till this season with Celtic) and now he's playing as an anchorman. Yeah... with all due respect, Phil Taylor would probably beat with his a blindfold on. Unless you're a handy darts player. In Holland and in Spain they don't give young players set positions, they just tell them to go out there and express themselves, which is why players from those countries can pretty much anywhere and not look out of place. We're talking about professional footballers and we're talking two progressive coaches (It's no surprise that Fraser and Forrest are coached by two of most progressive managers in the game, three if you count Andy Robertson) here. In training they are trained to play in a fluid manner and be comfortable wherever they find themselves. If you're seriously saying that professional players who play at a good/very good level struggle to adapt at either positional changes or formation changes then you are either underestimating them or you're making excuses for them.
  7. I'd like to see all five of them making the breakthrough. I'd add Jack Harper to the list. Malaga will probably be promoted and there's been a bid for him from a La Liga team, so chances are that he'll be with a La Liga team next season. I don't really know much about Che Adams, but if he's good enough then why not.
  8. Oops. My bad. In fairness, Chelsea are quite a good team so he probably didn't see much of the ball. Against Wolves he was no better or worse than King or Stanislas. Why are you picking on Fraser, though? Why not mention Porteous (who scored in a 3 at the back) or McArthur (Fine, he's retired, but he's still Scottish)? Our players are better than some people give them credit for. I think they're all able to adapt to a different formation, it's not like they're being asked to learn how to play cricket.
  9. Pretty much. You know what eBay are like, they are extremely aggressive when it comes to tearing down listings. If there was even the slightest whiff of it being illegal then listings like that one would be tore down.
  10. Do you mean Bournemouth's last three matches (Before today), which were against Chelsea (L 1:0), Wolves (L 2:0) and (L 4:0) Liverpool? If so, Fraser was on the bench against Chelsea (I heard that he brilliant at sitting, in fairness to Fraser) against Wolves they played 3-4-2-1 with Fraser being one of the 2 (and he did no worse or better than King or Stanislas) and against Liverpool they played 4-4-2, again, with Fraser being one of the 2, this time he played better than King. So, in Bournemouth's most recent three matches they've played with 3 at the back twice, but only one when Fraser was playing. Or did you mean the last three matches that Bournemouth played with a 3 (or a variation of a 3)? If so, they played Wolves (L 2:), Manchester City (L 3:1) or Fulham (W 3:0 - where he got Man of the match)?
  11. There certainly was. I'm not sure what his personal preferences are, but if I were McLeish I'd get him capped, otherwise it could turn into another McCarthy fiasco.
  12. In the SPL today, six out of 10 teams are playing with a variant of 3 at the back. 5 teams are playing with it in the EPL. Crystal Palace aren't doing a bad job with it against Man City. (Not saying they'll win.) One of argument it me was "No one plays with 3 at the back anymore". </Theory bebunked>
  13. The great (and amazing) thing is that he's genuinely improving on a monthly basis. Who knows how great he'll become. One of the best things that he he's a nice lad and he has his feet planted firmly on the ground. I wish more of our players had Robbo's attitude. Now... all that's to be done is to bribe Klopp into playing him as an anchorman.
  14. The best printer that I've ever owned is the Lexmark CS410DN. In my line of work I print thousands of paper per week and this printer is absolutely rapid! The best part of the story is that I bought it on eBay, the drum was faulty so I received a refund and was allowed to keep it. I emailed Lexmark, telling them the situation, and they sent me a drum (rrp £200) completely free. So yes, if you print regularly then get yourself a laser printer like the one above. You'll save on ink on the long run.
  15. How he lost that match is beyond me. He was 2:0 up but for some reason it didn't seem like he was cruising. Well done to the young lad who bear him... I lost £50, though, so it's a bitter/sweet taste. I won £70 on Van Den Bergh, though, so the night wasn't a total loss. I was resetting my laptop so I was pretty much tense till I got back online. Today's match between Lewis and Gurney should be a cracker. I think Lewis could cause an upset. And then there's our Gary and MVG with their matches. Both should cruise into the next round, but I said about Wright... Should be an entertaining day.
  16. I think we went past the point of no return when our schools started having proms and the "Black Friday" boom began.
  17. Oh, I totally get that now. When he mentioned the thing about there only being one planet I ejected from the thread.. I respect his opinion and felt a little bad for attacking him like I did. I shouldn't have did that. I've known people like him (born again) and I've attended therapy sessions that deal with that sort of psychosis and I've seen the fallout. I could've been nicer.
  18. Agreed. I know that some people balk at the thought of paying £50+ for a VPN so I can understand why they don't plump for it. I was like that... which is why I purchased it on eBay for a fiver.
  19. Trust me, mate, my face may be laughing but I'm crying on the inside. Nah, no apologizes required, mate. That's your opinion and I respect it. Oh topic. Robbo is starting. Personally I thought that he would've been rested for Newcastle and Arsenal, but it's the sign of the times at Livepool and how important he is.
  20. Honestly, I wouldn't bother with a free VPN. I'm using Nord VPN. I got a 2 year subscription for £5. But if you really must, try CyberGhost, I used it for a couple of years and never had a problem with it. You can't download using it, though, unless you pay a subscription. I switched to Nord because you can't use the free version of CyberGhost with an Amazon Firestick.
  21. Talking of Celtic, they really should be looking at Ryan Porteous, with probably a season loan back to Hibs. If they don't get him I can see an English Championship club coming in for him. Already he's miles ahead of Jack Hendry
  22. See? If I said anything remotely like that then the snowflakes would be crying and screaming about "Troll" that and "Troll" this. So, back to Andrew Robertson, shall we? Hopefully he has a storming match against Wolves later, but for some reason I can see him being rested as the fixtures are coming thick and fast. Maybe not, though, as Moreno is a bit of a bombscare, and Wolves are actually having a pretty goof season... so far.
  23. Nah. I'm too stubborn to do anything of the sort. I like having the last word, as if you haven't guessed. And oh please! Pointing the finger at everyone else? Mate, literally dozens of people entered this thread soley to take the piss and not contribute towards the debate. Put me on ignore, or will your ego not allow it?
