  1. Great to hear, hopefully Vierra has been impressed enough to keep him involved & be given his debut in soon to come league Cup.
  2. 🀣🀣 πŸ‘
  3. Good Post. George was a likeable character at his peak but his day has long home..
  4. I didn't read or post much here about our matches as i was either too nervous or intoxicated ha. Agree totally with you though, like i say i don't know what's been said here but I'm sure plenty of us where pretty angry at Clarkes failure against Croatia to change the system when it was blatantly obvious after their opening goal we where getting overrun. England had the same problem 2nd half last night but Southgate recognised it & changed to 433 which helped them stop the Italian domination, thankfully it wasn't enough but they where much more competitive during the latter stages & extra time. The Croatia performance reminded me of the most recent Israel away performance, Israel had too much space in midfield first half & scored as a consequence but Clarke changed to 433 at half time & we controlled the 2nd half. We'll never know if the same change may have worked against a team much superior than Israel but the fact Clarke didn't seem to have the tactical awareness to try worries me going forward.
  5. https://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/football/hearts/partick-thistle-say-hearts-harry-stone-is-a-real-asset-after-signing-future-tynecastle-no1-on-loan-3302021 We should keep a eye out for how this keepers loan goes, highly thought of at Hearts.
  6. I think this coming season is crunch time for Middleton, been promising a lot for a few seasons now but hasn't consistently delivered . Remember this lad was outstanding for Scotland at Youth levels, since moving up to the under 21's & club senior football he hasn't really progressed. Now he really needs a successful loan season, starting 20+ games at spl or English league 1 minimum level if Rangers can't find a club willing to give him that then i fear there's no chance he can develop to full international level. I really hope your right about Stephen Kelly.
  7. My gut feeling tells me Dire will turn out to be the better of the brothers as older bro Dapo has been released by Rangers even though he did ok on loan at QOS. The issue is as think has been mentioned here before Dire appears to have been born in London, now he is in the English system at such a impressionable age if he does really well at City there's no doubt England will come calling then we have another battle on our hands.
  8. If Caulker is playing well regularly for a successful Fenerbache team then surely Clarke will seriously consider him, its his job to monitor all eligible players playing at a decent level.
  9. Certainly a spell under Mackay in Scotland can only help our chances of getting him in our set up, if he develops into a serious talent it's keeping him committed I'd be worried about. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/57728392
  10. Big Duncs lad signed for Newcastle. Contract was up at Tranmere. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9741801/Cameron-Ferguson-son-Everton-legend-Duncan-signs-Newcastle.html I'm sure his dad wouldn't let him doubt his country if he turned out to be good enough.. Time will tell but had a look at Tranmeres forum, not much info just one guy saying that he isn't that good. Decent touch but too slow.
  11. Pleased with that Selection apart from keeping O'donnell in. Would have been much happier with Fraser /Armstrong or Patterson. 2 up top is bold when we only attack from one side.
  12. Cheers from Amsterdam 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❀️
  13. Thankfully the people that have actually seen him play the Bilbao coaching staff don't agree with you. They would not be giving a 4 year contract to a 21 year old unless they think he has a real chance of making the grade. Agree with everyone else about Kyle Joseph, it's a good move to a club which gives youth a chance.
  14. Quality, thanks for your efforts. Emotional stuff with perfect background music.
  15. 18 year old with 3 goals in 6 first team games sounds promising, we will no doubt end up fighting England & Ireland for his services if he makes it.
  16. Bif of a embarrassment in this day & age. Real shame with so many new faces on show.
  17. I can't find it anywhere so looks like no coverage. Pretty poor really.
  18. Not for me against good opposition, back 4 only against weaker teams. Doubt it will happen but tonight could be a opportunity to try Tierney in a holding Midfield role. That would also give McKenna & Cooper both a chance to start.
