  1. Well, you can enjoy some good windsurfing there...
  2. I love this idea of supporting more than one team. Definitely true of a lot of people I know down here, especially myself! I grew up a massive Rangers fan. Not because of any religious reasons. They were my local club, all my friends supported them, and so did a lot of my family. It was the 90s and my hero way Super Ally (saw him score the winner against Greece at the first ever football match I went to. Total magic.). Since then I have drifted away from Rangers. I've been to more Jags matches now, for my sins, and I would say I probably support any EPL club with a Scottish player as much as I support any club (Arsenal all my local team now. I maybe should have moved to a different part of the city...). There's something to be said for having the one big team you love (for me it's Scotland), but I think also supporting smaller teams is a great thing to do.
  3. I dunno man, I just think I was so hopeful to see a thread about one of the most important causes of our time, and then was a little disappointed to see it had ended up in bashing some black people etc. Possibly just being too sensitive. It's been a tough summer. Anyway, I should have posted my feelings on that thread instead if taking this one off topic, apologies.
  4. I'd love to see him fight for his place at Man U, but it does seem like he's slipping backwards down the pecking order a bit. I wonder if Arsenal would be a good fit? They could always do with more people with some physicality and fight in them in the middle of the park.
  5. Sorry, I was maybe being a tad hyperbolic. But the recent messages I read had one guy posting about a black criminal to remind people that black people attack white people too, another lad confused about why the death of Chadwick Boseman is receiving so much media attention, then a subsequent poster pointing out how much he doesn't like Lewis Hamilton, followed by someone who was talking about how his face was punchable like Neymar. All valid opinions, but on a BLM thread?! Lols. Stay classy TAMB πŸ‘Œ
  6. To be fair, things could be better here, but on a similar note I recently popped into the other parts of the TAMB for the first time in ages and the first thread I read was a Black Lives Matter thread that appears to have devolved into guys listing black people they don't like. Fuck me. I think I'll stay here and soak up the endless formation debates, passive aggression, and eternal optimism that comes before our next matchπŸ‘.
  7. You can probably get it on your phone and cast to your TV.
  8. I feel like the inclusion of Taylor in the squad is a strong indication Clarke is thinking about starting both Robbo and KT. Could be wrong though.
  9. Haha you need some fresh patter mate.
  10. For the love of God! The world is such a fucking shit show right now, can't we all just discuss Scottish player transfers without taking relentless, monotonous digs at each other? We're supposed to all be on the same fucking side.
  11. Him and Robbo in a horror collision? πŸ˜‚
  12. Well, looks like they are heading out of the Champs League. Disappointing, as the more Scots the better in the competition of course.
  13. Christie just scored for Celtic against Ferencvaros. McGregor, Forrest, and Taylor started too.
  14. I don't hate the look of that line-up, but I am also a massive fan of Christie.
  15. I have a feeling Clarke will start McGregor in midfield. I think he has in most games? Could be wrong though.
  16. The Sun are claiming West Ham are looking to reunite Calum Wilson and Ryan Fraser.
  17. Good to see. Hopefully he'll start getting some sub appearnces quickly. Meanwhile, George Johnston continues to start every pre-season friendly in central defence for Feyenoord.
  18. This is most excellent news, thanks! Used to save them for airmiles...
  19. I imagine he's in chats with lots if EPL clubs. Might take a while to settle on one.
  20. George Johnston starting for Feyenoord in a friendly right now. Would love to see him get some competitive game time for them this season.
  21. He always seems fucking honoured to pull on the dark blue at least! Can't argue with that.
  22. I agree with that, but fuck me what a poor division to even be competing in.
  23. I'm sure Gary Teale will recover from this massive injustice and keep on trucking. Perhaps one day we'll live in a society where he, and others like him, will finally be recognised for what they are - better than women.
  24. Yup, and the faster we accept that, the quicker our talented young players will move to competitive leagues and the stronger our national team will become. Or perhaps both will crumble into oblivion together? Still not sure which, but I'm hoping for the former.
