I think Ryan Jack will miss out. I think he will pick Doak in the same way he picked Gilmour and Paterson in the last Euros - young wildcard picks.

Lewis Ferguson plays every week in Serie A. I think he needs to be tried out more for us.

I know we have benefitted from it but I think they need to change the rules. If you have played for a international team any age group then you are locked to that country. Getting a bit of a joke players in their mid 20s wanting to join a country they had no interest in before.

Might end up being a common thing now. We used to try and find anyone that was eligible, now it’s the opposite anyone eligible is wanting to play for us.

Be sad to see someone from the current squad drop out in his place.

Deciding to switch cos we are doing decent. Not sure how I feel about players who are mid 20’s, who have already played for England suddenly deciding to play for us.

The Spain starting 11 just came through. Honestly nothing for us to fear against them in Spain.

The other option is Mctominay, McGregor, Mcginn and Christie supporting dykes or adams. It’s tricky because Gilmour is in good form.

Can play a back 3 with McGregor and Gilmour sitting and Mctominay and Mcginn supporting dykes or adams.

I wouldn’t be against Christie starting. Be interesting see what Clarke does with Mcginn, Mctominay, McGregor and Gilmour. All worthy of a start. McGinn and McGregor are undroppable and Mctominay has been banging in the goals. He might start all 4.

Quite a lot of folk think dykes and adams will play together. Personally I can’t see it.

Just watched the Sheffield United highlights there. I would call up Mcburnie if Dykes isn’t fit.
