We played Flamengo of Brazil in a pre-season the year we were at Hampden. They had a winger in their ranks who turned in one of the best individual performances I’ve ever seen. As the story goes, we tried to buy him that day and encouraged by Tommy Burns wee Fergus was ready to write a cheque for £1.5 m on the spot. They hunted us after a bit of swithering. I think he ended up at Real Madrid eventually. I dunno what became of him there but what a player he was! Wish I could mind his name lol

I dunno how old you are VA but a lot of what I'm seeing this season reminds me of the huns failed bid for 10IAR. A lot of needless points shipped by a team trying to coast games in second gear and a constant stream of injuries. Although it would be horrible to experience a defeat at Ibrox on the 29th just might help refocus some minds in the dressing and board rooms at Parkhead! 🤔

Agree with that again. Hayes wasn't great but he certainly offered more than Sinclair. He should have brought on Forrest for Ntcham and switched Hayes over to the left. What's happening with Morgan.....he seems to have disappeared again?

I agree with all of that, however some of the managers decisions were baffling last night. Ntcham left mid? Leaving Forrest on the bench the whole night when we are struggling to create against a makeshift defence? Failing to address the obvious problem a deep lying Scott Brown was causing? I'm not prone to overreaction, so let's just say it wasn't Brendan's finest hour

Dreadful team selection and substitutions from Rodgers tonight. Scott Brown caused a lot of our problems tonight with his starting position being way too deep. Fair play to Motherwell but if Clancy does his job properly we'd have been 2-0 up at half time.
