On the Slovakian FA website, they have announced sales for the Scotland game. As from 11.00CET on Monday the 19th, they will be selling double tickets for the Scotland and Lithuania home games starting at 24 euros. Tickets for just the Scotland game on its own aren't on sale until early October. However an extra 6 euros to get a ticket now seems a bargain. Both anthems have lines that reference beating the other in previous wars, so no problem with either country booing them. If they changed their anthem to Jerusalem or Land of Hope and Glory, I would happily stand and give it the respect I give every other countries anthem.

I went down to all three games and the atmosphere was different class. watched the Holland game on TV this week as well, and surprised to see that there seemed to be more Dutch fans. the worst thing is imagining the support we would have taken down to Liverpool in the quarter final. Would have been the closest to Wembley in the 1970's we have seen since....

Watched this last night as well. Really unbelievable the cover up that went on, almost from the very beginning. The worst bit was ordering the police to stand in a line across the pitch to prevent Forest fans coming on to possibly start trouble.....that was unforgivable!! I was at Saints v Rangers semi final at Parkead that day. I remember coming out of the ground and hearing all the news reports. All the pubs in Perth that night were showing the scenes on the TV's and No-one could believe it. It was a very sombre atmosphere all night.....

I was at that U16 World Cup game at Tynie. Game delayed for 45 minutes to let crowd in and 5000 locked out. Won 1-0 and Brian O'Neill scored. Great night.....

Was at Cologne and Dortmund games in August and was standing on terraces at both games. Not only that, but was drinking beer on the terraces at only 3 euros a pint. Great atmosphere and no bother. They are so far ahead of us in Europe. I do remember watching Saints at Dens on the terracing in Jan 78, and walking out of the ground and it was just a solid carpet of empty Tennents cans......won 4-3 as well!!
