  1. Just to be clear - I wasn’t saying you were overweight. I was saying only Americans give their weight in pounds so you’ve been over there for too long.
  2. He’ll need to go with a strong line up against the Netherlands or we could get an absolute doing. Not great for the confidence before the tournament. I would like to see Turnbull and Patterson get a wee run out against them though to see how they get on against against that level of opposition.
  3. 😂😂😂 I could’ve worked it out if I could’ve been bothered. 16 stane is alright for 6ft 4 isn’t it? It’s not easy to keep your weight in check over there with the Texas portions.
  4. An internet rumour turns out to be bollocks? Shocking.
  5. 220 lbs? You’ve been in Texas for far too long mate. What’s that in stone? 😂😂😂
  6. There isn’t much that can be done I suppose except charge the same price for all seats which isn’t exactly fair either. Paying more that double for more or less the exact same view is a bit ridiculous though. Maybe there should have been more price brackets?
  7. Walking and playing football are two completely different things but I hope you’re right. It can’t be that bad obviously but might only be painful when he runs or kicks a ball.
  8. Fair enough. At least you have your tickets. Nah it wouldn’t have worked. I suspect people wouldn’t be very happy if they paid €125 and were seated right next to someone that paid €50. Mind you the sections will be next to each other so I suppose that will kind of happen anyway.
  9. If you have 14 points you could have got a €50 ticket for Wembley on Tuesday.
  10. Yeah I’m sure Bruce Grobbelaar was interested in playing for us at one point. Was a non-starter I think as he had already played for Rhodesia/Zimbabwe but if he’d been born in England, Wales or NI there would have been absolutely no chance whether he’d have played for another country or not.
  11. The “liaise with UEFA” part will be UEFA sending the SFA emails with sales updates and additional codes. Hardly rocket science but it’s good that it all appears to have gone smoothly. The UEFA website got very busy quite quickly on Tuesday so god knows what it would have been like if the games were full capacity and 10,000 of us were trying to buy tickets at the same time.
  12. He’s only been at Celtic for five minutes. He won’t be going anywhere unless the new manager doesn’t fancy him.
  13. They won’t be offered that sort of money until he achieves something with Celtic. The fact that he has been anonymous in Old Firm games (not necessarily his fault) won’t have added to his value either. Celtic won’t want to sell him at all just now I don’t think.
  14. £12-15 million? I’ll crack the jokes. Celtic bought him for £3.25 million 9 months ago.
  15. Hitting some form at the right time then. Good stuff.
  16. Andy Gray is a tit. Completely irrelevant to your post but I haven’t said that for a while and thought it was time.
  17. Yeah well thankfully you don’t make the rules. You’ll notice that most of us on here don’t think we should get more tickets than the Czechs or Croatians at our matches at Hampden. Glasgow may be a host city but they are not home games.
  18. Yeah I’d think so. You just won’t know when you can do it if you don’t get the email but I’m sure there will be a buzz on here when we all get our emails.
  19. Of course but it’s easier to get caught out of position if you’re attacking more than you’re used to. Not that I suspect we’ll be ragdolling any teams next month.
  20. Yeah there’s no reason why he can’t play there but I’d rather he had a good bit of practice at it first rather than doing it for the first time at a major finals. We do have the warm up games to be fair although playing against Luxembourg probably isn’t the best preparation for the level of opponents we’ll face at the tournament. Will certainly be interesting to see what Clarke does in the two friendlies.
  21. Bombing forward is all very well but he’d still need to defend and if he’s playing as a wing back he won’t have the same protection than if he was playing in a back 4. Could leave whoever is at right CB badly exposed if he doesn’t find the right balance. I’m probably just looking for problems where there aren’t any to be fair. I think we all know Clarke will probably start with O’Donnell anyway.
  22. The only thing that would worry me is Patterson doesn’t play as a wingback for Rangers. He could certainly play there but it takes time to get used to it as it is actually more different than playing as a full back than some people think. We’ll find out in our warm up games what Clarke’s plan is.
  23. Can’t see that happening. If there are 600 left for both Hampden games around half if those will go tomorrow I reckon and the rest will go on Monday and Tuesday.
  24. A bench warmer should only really be in the squad for back up. If Marshall doesn’t start then I’m pretty sure it will be Gordon.
