  1. It’s not really the same thing though is it? Our qualifying group wasn’t the hardest.
  2. I agree with you. Has this ever happened before? 😂
  3. There’s a photo of him on a stretcher and he’s conscious which is a good sign.
  4. Yeah I would agree. Maybe. It would be interesting to see how England start against us if we have 3 points and they have 0. It might actually make them more determined to beat us though so I don’t know.
  5. Getting out of the group would be the best we’ve ever done and would mean we have done better than our seeding would suggest we would do. That’s at least some sort of improvement and measure of success. If you consider failing to get out of the group a success then that’s up to you but I would say it wasn’t a successful tournament even if we manage to beat the Czechs. We are not there to make up the numbers and I doubt the players or manager will be happy if we get eliminated at the first hurdle.
  6. A good tournament for me would be 4 points and a place in the last 16. All we can really expect though is the team giving 100% in every game. If that’s not enough then there’s not much we can do about it.
  7. Good points but surely going out in the first round would not be successful? We may need to do very well to be successful but if we get eliminated in the first round it will pretty much be a failure for me. That doesn’t necessarily mean we will have done badly. If we narrowly lose to countries that are ranked higher than us then so be it but that certainly wouldn’t constitute success for me.
  8. You’d be happy with going out in the first round with two games at Hampden? I know we are the lowest ranked team in the group and may well go out but I won’t be happy about it if we do. Let’s be honest here - we will probably never have a better chance of getting out of a group. If we don’t do it this time we may never do it.
  9. The UEFA website states you need ID for Hampden (or at least it did last week) but the email UEFA sent this morning doesn’t mention ID it just says you need your ticket and a mask. I’ll have my licence on me anyway but it is a little confusing.
  10. Right obviously. Left would be ridiculous.
  11. Good point. What should we do to fight sectarianism? Hop on one leg?
  12. There’s nothing better than seeing Wright when England have lost though.
  13. 😂😂😂 My entry time for Wembley is 5:30-6:00 so I’m happy you can get a alcohol there. Would have been brutal sitting for 2.5 without a pint. Not keen on the price I’ve seen quoted though - £10.50 for a pie and a pint allegedly. I’m hoping the pie is £8. 😂
  14. You can download the app without the link. Your tickets may not be available yet though. It doesn’t happen immediately.
  15. I see what you did there.
  16. I’m not a big fan of booing at any time but if a team makes an arse of themselves they bring that booing on themselves and it will have no impact on the game. If people boo our players next week before a ball is even kicked and it affects even one of them it could have a bearing on the outcome of the game. Booing the players will achieve nothing.
  17. What does that have to do with anything? Our players don’t represent BLM. If you don’t understand that then you have a cheek calling me an idiot. How do you think our players are going to feel if they hear sections of our support booing them? If seeing footballers kneeling offends you in some way then maybe going to football matches isn’t for you? You don’t need to agree with the kneeling but if you boo our players for doing it then you should be nowhere near a Scotland game.
  18. To be fair to Adams he actually scored against Luxembourg while Dykes had a bunch of misses against them without scoring. I don’t think you can judge either player on a single game.
  19. I’m going to find out where you work and come round and boo you. Oh wait, that would be pathetic, pointless and embarrassing. If you are going to boo our players maybe you shouldn’t have bothered buying a ticket so a real supporter could’ve gone?
  20. I doubt you’ll be able to find your way to Wembley if you’re that simple.
  21. Hampden is the only stadium in the whole tournament where you can’t buy booze. Or anything at all really apart from UEFA merchandise.
  22. If someone isn’t fussed either way it goes along with it because others are doing it that’s fine but it wouldn’t be good if anyone who doesn’t want to do it feels they have to. For our squad at least I would imagine the players were consulted and involved in the decision. Surely anyone with strong objections would have raised them then?
  23. I’m not sure if any will be forced into doing it. Some may feel under pressure to do it but I’m sure if anyone feels strongly enough about it and says they don’t want to do it that would be respected.
  24. It’s on the tickets under the venue.
  25. If we beat the Czechs on Monday we should be aiming for finishing better than 3rd in the group. Easier said than done to be fair.
