  1. This was my understanding too? I thought members were only guaranteed a ticket for competitive home matches?
  2. KLM Aberdeen - Amsterdam - Prague return Wednesday to Saturday. Staying in Atlantic Hotel beside old town square
  3. International challenge matches are usually cheaper. Qatar was only £15.00
  4. The gamble of booking up last night worked out well then! Now to see where in CZ the game will be played!
  5. Cheers. A private mini bus is coming in at around £40 PP (9 of us in a 16 seater) but if we can get a few more on board it would take the price down and we would likely go for it. Any takers let me know! By having our own minibus we would be able to drive straight down to Manchester without stopping at every bus station, services etc. on the way! And hopefully the driver would be a bit more lenient in regards to having a beer or 2 since it is not a public bus...
  6. I just got sent that picture to my phone also.
  7. I have emailed a few companies and now getting some responses with quotes. Would anyone be interested in this? There are 9 of us but looks like it would be a 16 seater minibus. The total sum would be split evenly with no-one going free/discounted etc.
  8. not sure if this is the correct place to post but... 9 of us travelling to Manchester airport after the Lithuania game in October to fly to Bratislava on the Sunday morning. Would anyone be able to recommend a minibus service that does driver hire also? By the time we scutter about with taxis/tubes back into centre of Glasgow then National Express/Megabus (whatever company we book with) to Manchester it may be worth hiring a private minibus and paying that bit extra. Any information/tips welcome cheers clarky!
  9. Thanks for the info.. I will look into that if it takes half the time. Also there are 1-2 stops on the train so that will be avoided also.
  10. We looked at that option but decided against it in case the game is in another city and any delays occur. We are flying out of Vienna @ 1305 instead (arriving into Stansted 1415). The train is 1h 45mins from central Bratislava to Vienna airport so it still means an early start but it gives us an extra few hours just in case.
  11. People do know the SFA only lease Hampden and it actually belongs to Queens Park right!? Our lease is up after the 2020 euros.
  12. good work on the organisation of this. Sounds like the making of a good afternoon/evening. 8 of us planning to stop by at some point
  13. I know our strikers are struggling for goals in Scotland colours but I don't think calling up a referee is the answer
  14. Agreed. The heat was intense so we usually sat inside the bar, or at the very least in the shade, until early evening. That way you stayed a few temp cooler and your beer wasn't boiled by the sun!!
  15. Not quite Tbilisi temperature but good enough for me 3 points for Scotland and Germany on Thursday night and it can p1ss down all week if it likes!!
  16. Morrison is suspended vs. Poland
  17. He dropped Naismith vs Germany although I expect he will start vs. Poland. If Naismith plays behind the striker there will (or should!!) be no place for Forrest but I wouldn't rule out Naismith up front on his own with Forrest 1 of 3 playing behind him. My front 4 would be: Maloney Naismith Ritchie Rhodes
  18. ... thats Strachan for you! Last season Arfield was playing EPL every week but Strachan was picking Bannan, Anya, Maloney who were not. Strachan doesnt pay much attention to what league your playing in. He seems to pick his squads based on if the players' style of play fits his philosophy.
  19. Sounds stupid but Morrison probably called up because, should we make the play offs, he would play in both legs. Similar stance with Mulgrew who apparently is a doubt for next weeks games? By being involved this time round and participating in training sessions, set piece rituals etc. they would (or should) have the edge over a player who hasn't been called up for these games. We all know Strachans view on familiarity in the squad!! I cant see Bardsley getting back in the set up any time soon. I don't think he is near the team at Stoke and Strachan wouldnt be impressed with his casino & Wayne Rooney knock-out incidents. McCormack and Dorrans can consider themselves unlucky. Cairney is a great player that seems to go under the radar as well. Overall I am pleased with the squad... good to see Shinnie getting the recognition he deserves and we're always more likely to score goals when Rhodes is included.
  20. Strachan can no longer afford to go with who he likes and who has played for him in the past. We look far too one dimensional and stale with the same 13-14 players he picks for every game. We MUST start with 11 players who are in form for club & country at the moment and are hungry to play for the shirt. I wouldnt be surprised if Russell and/or Ritchie start vs Poland. Both are in form for their club and Ritchie had a good game when he come on vs. Germany. If Strachan persists with Brown, Mulgrew, Fletcher etc. who aren't on form, guys like D Fletcher, Griffiths, Russell, Ritchie must be left wondering what they need to do to get a start!!!
  21. MacArthur and D Fletcher both start in CM ahead of Mulgrew as they both play there every week for their clubs and are currently on form. Mulgrew's best chance of a start is at LB if Strachan doesn't fancy Robertson vs. Poland.
  22. Correct. If we get 6 points and Germany beat Ireland we are guaranteed the play off spot. If Poland beat Ireland or they draw Poland go through in 2nd place If Ireland beat Poland they go through in 2nd place and we go through on better H2H A draw with Poland is enough if Germany & Poland both beat Ireland. Again we would go through on better H2H
