  1. I would fecking love it, just love it, if they found something on Davidson, Fraser or Carlaw.
  2. He gets on very well with Angus MacNeil and Mhairi Black. She joked recently that Mogg is her "boyfriend"
  3. Is he capable of doing it for Swansea's first team ? That's the tricky bit. There's been plenty of Scots players over the years who tore up their Under 19 leagues or reserve leagues and were found to be out of their depth when the call to the first team came. Still, I really do wish the kid well and hope he becomes a success. We need a goalscoring striker badly.
  4. Derek Riordan and Garry O'Connor also worth mentioning as amongst our sporting national embarrassments. Sad to remember but there was once a time when these two were young lads with bags of talent and seemingly had the world at their feet. They threw it all away because they didn't want to abandon their pathetic ned lifestyles. What's worse is that neither of them seem at all bothered about it
  5. What was the bloody point of Jordan McGhee going on loan to Boro's youth team for a season ? He should have stayed at Hearts and got first team football.
  6. Any Scottish sportspeople past or present who would be considered a "national embarrassment" ? Bawbag Barry MBE has to be top of the that list.
  7. Nothing wrong with being a born zoomer as long as one isn't a violent racist/sexist/homophobic kind of zoomer !
  8. Wasn't there a resignation of all Northern Irelands unionist MP's during the 1980s to fight by elections on constitutional grounds ?
  9. Pity we still have such appalling, backward attitudes towards the womens game from the likes of you. Our womens teams deserve all the support they can get and the standard of women's domestic and international football has come on tremendously in the last ten-fifteen years. I rather do suspect this is a more a case of you being one of these "it's political correctness gone mad", "these feminists are just fascists" types.
  10. Don't know if this is true but the suggestion I've read is that it's mostly in seats where UKIP were seen as a serious threat that would split the vote and Tory HQ decided to win at all costs. Each MP under investigation should resign the Conservative Party whip until they are either cleared ....... or jailed.
  11. JCQC is a political streetfighter, if she had been on last week's show Dugdale would have been in tears. Should be good. Can't stand the sound of Angela Eagle's horrible scratchy voice.
  12. What's your problem with women's football ? Should they be behind the kitchen sink then ?
  13. http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish_fa_news.cfm?page=2986&newsID=16828&newsCategoryID=1 What do you think ? Any potential ? A few new players anyway. Goalkeepers Ryan Fulton (Liverpool, loan to Chesterfield) Devlin Mackay (Kilmarnock, loan to Berwick Rangers) Jack Ruddy (Wolverhampton Wanderers) Defenders Alex Iacovitti (Nottingham Forest) Zak Jules (Reading, loan to Motherwell) Jamie McCart (Celtic, loan to Inverness CT) Jordan McGhee (Hearts, loan to Middlesbrough) Liam Smith (Heart of Midlothian) Greg Taylor (Kilmarnock) Midfielders Chris Cadden (Motherwell) Liam Henderson (Celtic) Stephen Mallan (St Mirren) James Jones (Crewe Alexandra) Dominic Thomas (Motherwell, loan Queen of the South) Ruben Sammut (Chelsea) Joe Thomson (Celtic, loan to Queen of the South) Forwards Ryan Hardie (Rangers, loan to Raith Rovers) Jack Harper (Málaga CF) Oliver McBurnie (Swansea City) Paul McMullan (Celtic, loan to Dunfermline Athletic) Lewis Morgan (St Mirren) Craig Wighton (Dundee)
  14. Now you mention it, people do tend to do that when I start talking about my great interest in forgotten local antiquities ..........
  15. Settle a daft wee debate for me. Situation: Your at the house of a friend or family member. They are either stuck in the toilet, out in the garden or fannying about in the kitchen. Their house phone then starts ringing and keeps ringing. Do you answer it ?
  16. Find a post where I said exactly that and then I'll get back to you. There's a good chap.
  17. And as I've said before a number of times, the price of football just now and personal circumstances mean I'd rather put my money in the bank for the moment. Nice chatting with you as always PGB. Keep fighting the power
  18. Lately she seems to be be reacting very badly to the realisation that her TV career is now over. Can't be the only one to notice that Tennant alters his how strong his accent is depending on who's interviewing him. Don't like people who do that. I mind when he quit as Dr Who, the media were predicting that the offers from Hollywood would come flooding in for him. Feck all happened.
  19. If we feck up these two upcoming matches then our national team and manager will be national embarrassments. And also: Fred Macauley, Gerard Butler, Susan Calman, Stanley Baxter, The Crankies, Lulu. "Old Firm Fan Chiefs" * - Mark Dingwall and Jeannette Findlay. Cünts on twitter - "brian spanner", "historywoman", "effiedeans". At Westminster - Ian Murray, Alistair Carmichael, David Mundell, Michael Gove, Alberto Costa, Lady Mone of the Sweatshops. At Holyrood - Kezia Dugdale, Ruth Davidson, Oor Wullie, John Mason, Neil Findlay, James Kelly, Jackson Carlaw, Adam Tompkins, Annie Wells, Jamie Greene, Edward Mountain. * © Daily Record
  20. Compare that with the guys who played against Canada in October 2002 Paul Gallacher (Dundee United), Maurice Ross (Rangers), Lee Wilkie (Dundee), Steven Pressley (Heart of Midlothian), Christian Dailly [c] (West Ham United), Russell Anderson (Aberdeen), Graham Alexander (Preston North End), Stevie Crawford (Dunfermline Athletic), Steve Thompson (Dundee United), Scot Gemmill (Everton), Paul Devlin (Birmingham City) Subs: Callum Davidson (Leicester City) for Ross (HT), Scott Severin (Heart of Midlothian) for Gemmill (65), Ian Murray (Hibernian) for Wilkie (75), James McFadden (Motherwell) for Thompson (80), Kevin Kyle (Sunderland) for Crawford (90) What do we think, has there really been that much of an improvement in the quality of the players?
  21. "Aye but he plays furra Sellick so he must be guid !" I'd rather have Graeme Shinnie ahead of Lee Wallace.
  22. Feck knows. Interestingly many Labour MPs from England and Wales think she's fantastic
  23. If Cairney was eligible for Wales, Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland he'd have had a few international caps by now. But we're Scotland we have to do things the really fecking hard way .............. Phil Bardsley should be in our squad but feck knows why Strachan doesn't rate him.
