Unpopular opinion incoming.... I would call time on Grant Hanley. His pride, his commitment and his effort I cannot fault but nonetheless he's a major liability in my opinion. The frequent lapses in concentration, bad decision making, clumsiness and poor positioning are screwing us. Also, in contrast to the other players he always looks absolutely wrecked (beetroot red face, dripping with sweat, panting for breath) after about sixty five minutes/seventy minutes are on the clock. Is it that bad fitness or a sign of health problem ? Only call up players like Gauld and Morgan if they are actually going to get serious game time. It's a complete waste of their time to fly them all that way over just to sit on the bench or bring them on in the 89th minute to waste time. I doubt they will be called up in any case.

Would it really have been so hard for the SFA to have found another European opponent to play ? Or did they wait too long to find an opponent and asked the six counties if they wanted to make it a double header ? To arrange two friendlies against the same opponent looks really amateurish.

The clientele at "Rumours Bar" will be heartbroken 😄 Whose decision was it to cancel your kids game ? The team coach or whoever administers their particular league ? It's a ridiculous decision. I'd find out who it was responsible and give them a piece of your mind.

Yes, I genuinely think the new and improved Taylor could do a job for a mid table English, French, German, Italian club but he'll likely spend his peak years at Celtic. I'm not remotely interested in doing the whole top trumps comparison thing. It's boring.

I didn't say it was a majority of fans but certainly a sizeable amount of the fans from both clubs would happily see their team field zero Scottish players and not scout any Scottish players.

A depressing fact is that there is a sizeable amount of fans from both Old Firm clubs who don't want any Scottish players in their team at all.

Doesn't mean that Taylor should be discarded. He's a totally different player now compared to what he was twelve months ago. We also know that Clarke likes him.

Last year the idea of Greg Taylor starting for Scotland I found unnerving. Today I would be quite happy to see him get a game. His improvement this year has been phenomenal and he really looks like he could do a good job in Robertson's place if required.
