  1. Or four fouls in 10 mins. He won't see half time, let alone 90mins at this rate.
  2. His, the clubs or the companys ?Boom boom.(and obviously a joke before I am accused of being obsessed)
  3. Replaced the tap in the bathroom. Had to cut the pipe and replace the valve and olive. Turned the tap on to inspect my handy work, forgot to reconnect the drain water pipe. Got wet feet.
  4. I have only been half watching but what does Bale bring to the Madrid side? I think he has only touched the ball twice in this second half. (Cue him scoring)
  5. As I have said a few times before I have no idea why scunnered get the abuse he does for voting for the best person to represent his constituents. Maybe if more people did the same we would not have the career politicians that stand for nothing and done set foot in thier respective areas.
  6. I am a London based, card carrying member of the SNP that would describe myself as a 'small c' conservative and 100% backs independence. I sit to the right of centre but to the left of mainstream politics of England. There is a place for everyone in an Independent Scotland and if we maintain a fair election system, which I have no reason to think that we would not, then our future will be based in co-operation, consideration and hopefully mature politics. I am also disturbed by the almost win/lose, football match adaptation of politics these days. Maybe there was no celebration on here as people realise that they only thing that was 'won' on Thursday was the loud voice. What we say or how it is delivered is now up to 56 MPs. I expect a few bumps along the way as is only natural but I am optimistic that our representatives can deliver on both on a local and national level.
  7. There is a map on BBC which allows you to see the votes by party across the UK. Am I right in thinking that UKIP lost their deposit in every seat they contested in Scotland? It seems to be under reported.
  8. Well done to Martyn Day. He has been pounding the streets of Linlithgow for as long as I can remember campaigning for the SNP.
  9. £305 for what feels like 50 games at Craven Cottage next season.
  10. Attempting to campaign. I could not have him scaring away the customers.
  11. I had to politely chuck the Labour Candidate out of the front of my store today. I actually felt sorry for him. On his own, no pomp or ceremony, just a depressed look. Labour polled about 10% in this part of leafy surrey. He predicted an increase in Tory vote, with Lib Dems second and he is aiming for third hopefully ahead of UKIP.
  12. Not really. Lewis has had free reign over the last 6 months to try and turn Tesco round knowing that last year's results , as horrific as they are, were not a reflection on him. Green shoots of recovery so share price reflects the future, not the past. Sainsburys are due a shocker as well. Makes Morrison's look good by comparison.
  13. At least £5billion, could be closer to £6billion is what I am hearing. When the loses are announced and if (it's a big if) the share price tumbles then now is the time to jump on Tesco. The Kantar figures are looking promising for them so this will be the best time to buy.
  14. It saddens me that we are moving closer and closer to a presidential electoral system. Scunnered appears to be getting chastised for wanting to vote for the best person to representing his local area. I may be in the minority but that was always my primary consideration when marking my ballot paper.
  15. Similar theme but different topic, does any of the bars have sky sports? I know the ones air side do not but not sure if there is even a pub prior to security.
  16. The purple and white monstrosity on the wall. Set against a cream wall on the other side.
  17. I get the toy soldiers and the cotton wool cannons. What I want to know is what the hell is going on with the wall paper?
  18. Meh. You have your opinion and I will have mine. For the record though I don't wear spectacles of any colour.
  19. One of my better brain farts this morning. Placing the bets this morning I made the same bet twice. No idea I had done it until I checked online, expected to see £50 for 2nd and 4th and had £95 in the account. Bet on Avardo £5 e/w @ 25-1 twice.
  20. Well done ICT. Had a game plan and stuck to it perfectly.
