  1. Me being a Bawbag lost my I-phone 5
  2. A heads up for anyone still to get transport from the airport to their hotel - BOOK IN ADVANCE If you pitch up at the airport and jump into a taxi outside the terminal, it will cost you 50 Euros (to Albufeira) If you book a transfer in advance it will cost 30 Euros. I have used www.suntransfers.com on many occasions and never been let down. They are also very reliable for hotel pickups on your return journey.
  3. Guys, book a taxi in advance. If you just pitch up at the taxi rank outside, it will cost you 50 Euros to get to Albufeira If you book in advance, you can get for 30 Euros. The companies I've listed above are very good, I've used Suntransfers on many occasions and never been let down. They will also pick you up for your return journey for the same price.
  4. The usual, seems like a lifetime, last pre-trip shift. Pack the hold all tonight Train to Glasgow tomorrow morning for our most vital game in years Nights kip in Glesga Then GLA-East Midlands-Faro on Friday morning
  5. Brazil is a blabbering buffoon along with the majority of them.
  6. A blue one with red flashes and a red one with blue flashes per chance ?
  7. That's absolutely ludicrous. Taking your gf to the fitba !
  8. Get yourself in front of a TV somewhere. Scotland V Samoa rugby on. It will pass some time for you.
  9. I got a replica retro top there today, honored my 15% discount without any questions. (Aberdeen branch) However, I have been looking for the current home top since before the game in Dublin. They have never had them in stock since mid May. That's probably not the fault of JD, more Adidas. If the shop isn't getting supply, they can't sell them. That brings me on to another gripe. The choice of merchandise from Adidas is CRAP. Two styles of shirt in red or blue and that's it. When you see the choice of Scotland rugby gear compared to what Adidas offer, their range is excellent and the shops are full of them. The quicker this JD partnership is over, the better.
  10. Sorry, taxi already booked and full. If you are looking to book one in advance, I would suggest :- www.suntransfers.com or www.yellowfishtransfers.com
  11. Tonights useless ba5tards - Feckin Arsenal. Let me down for £122

  15. Hi, we arrive in Faro at 6:45 so you will be 5 minutes behind us Are you Dounby, Orkney by any chance ? Edited - I see you are. My wife is from Orkney. I bet you know her brothers. Graeme and Red Hamilton !!!
  16. Why buy the SSC ticket when you already have one. The only reason is to gain a point. No doubt you will sell these tickets on to a non-member. Harvesting IMO.
  17. Another boozer for anyone wanting a pint before departure just across the road and along a wee bit. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bella-Vista-Sports-Bar/193785034007364
  18. Me & the Mrs done the two in the same day and as suggested, it is a LONG day. We didn't enjoy the salt mines. Most of these tours are about the history of the mines. In this case, there's just a couple exhibits on the history and the rest is salt carvings. The chapel as mentioned above, is very impressive though. We did manage a lunch / beer stop though. The company we went with dropped us off at a wee cafe near the salt mines.
  19. Krakow is a brilliant city. Eating out and drinking is amazing value. I highly recommend here : http://aperitif.com.pl/home-en/ Me and the Mrs had a super meal here. 4 courses with a couple of bottles of wine and cherry vodkas all for less than £30 a head. It's on a wee side street just off the main square.
